Receiving stocks from Norway company

Hi, asking here because I think this is the appropriate place to ask... Redirected here by advise from one member at the Stock Exchange subforum.
Context: I have absolutely zero experience trading stocks.

My company is gifting me some company shares as a reward for long time service.
Problem is, the HQ is in Norway and the stocks is traded at the Bors (Norway's Bursa)

Question: how can I receive the stocks here in Malaysia? I use Maybank for my salary account, and I asked my local branch - they are not trading with Norway bors.

How may I proceed from here? Your kind advice and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Need clarification on buying a house

So here's my situation, please bear with me:

my fiancee is actively looking for a house, and she found one that was quoted at RM248k.
we took a look at the house, it's a corner SS 1000-ish sqft (small house, definitely not more than 1k sqft). but it was just nice, we both like it.

prior to that, my fiancee met with the supposed "owner" of the house. (note the quotes)

i say "owner" because she said the house is owned by "her company".
A little more than a year back, the "owner" paid the booking fee and deposit which she claimed was 10k.

(here's the iffy part)

but after paying booking fee and deposit, the "owner" never signed the S&P for more than a year. My fiancee met the developer's representative (the clerk) and the clerk said since the "owner" didn't sign the S&P within 1 year, the house keys are automatically given to her because the developer "doesn't care about selling the house anymore" (i think this is a major red flag there, correct me if i'm wrong).

Furthermore, when my fiancee tried to negotiate the price with the "owner", she was asked to negotiate with that developer's clerk. And when she tried to negotiate with that clerk, she was asked to negotiate with the "owner". I got really uneasy here. I have this gut feeling that the "owner" and clerk are working together.

TL;DR, is my fiancee being taken for a ride here?

and, am i right in saying that since that "owner" didn't sign the S&P, she's not the owner legally right? The house is still with the developer, and any form of negotiations should be with my fiancee and the developer.

It looks like the North Korean Government has released the newest iteration of its very own operating system and it looks like something we’ve all seen before. The aptly named Red Star Linux is the official OS of the DPRK (which is strange because of the extremely low connectivity rate) and NOW is pretty much a Linux Distro skinned to look like Mac OS X. Granted, the OS is about 10 years old, but it always looked like a Windows knockoff, only with the recent version, it seems like all the Apple advertisements have made an impact.

KOTA KINABALU: A man’s bid to reverse his Myvi in a multi-storey car park in the city’s downtown area here ended with the vehicle plunging four floors to the ground level of the shopping complex.

The 53-year-old driver who was the sole occupant of the vehicle sustained fractured shoulder bones and bleeding of the lungs in the 7am incident Thursday.

City police deputy chief Supt M. Chandra said the man was reversing the car when he lost control of the vehicle that rammed into a wall before plunging to the ground floor.

He said the man’s blood samples had been taken as part of police investigations into the incident.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman Affendy Ramin said they were alerted of the accident at 7.34am and rushed seven personnel and a fire engine to the Star City complex here.

He said firemen took about 10 minutes to pry open the damaged vehicle and pull out the man who was immediately rushed to the Queen Elizabeth hospital.

So I just got off a 20 minute conversation with the caller named Misha, from a travel agency she didn't want to tell what was the name...

trying to get 499 of my credit card to register myself for a "MATTA price vacation and hotels package deals".

2 times i said "sorry miss, i'm not interested" then she lowered the price to 299. another 2 times i said no then she called me ungrateful for (and i quote) "not appreciating what the goverment have prepared for us. the hotels, the attractions, theme parks..." (struggled not to laugh at this point).

i told her i'm from sabah, then she said "orang sabah mesti suka datang Malaysia kan... eh salah salah". i LOLed at this point. but she continued to talk.

i like wasting the times of them telemarketers, but by far that was the best ever.

so it's like this yo.

i've had a hankering for exploring sarawak for quite some time now, and i've kena poisoned by my company and its nice site trips and vacations, through them i've discovered some nice places that i didn't know existed in sarawak.

just last 2 weeks i went to batang ai dam & hilton batang ai, and last week i went to the village house in santubong.

and as a long term plan of mine, i decided i'll explore sarawak from Tanjung Datu (far western tip of sarawak) and finally ending up in lawas.

So, to anyone who has been there: what's it like? how much it cost you to get there?

Just got a call from JX Nippon Oil HR, inviting me to attend their interview next week's Tuesday. Post: Jr Facilities Engineer. I suspect this is for the Baram oilfields (the newly discovered Block SK333 onshore field one..)

Negotiate salary increment

Dear all,

This afternoon or tomorrow I'm supposed to meet up with the director of my company and discuss about my salary increment after 3 months probation.

FYI, currently my job title is QA Engineer in a shipyard in Miri, with specialisation on welding quality. But I've also taken up the responsibilities of a recently-resigned mechanical engineer. Which is also in my field, but not in my primary job scope. Based on the feedback from my supervisors, I'd say I've been doing ok; able to catch up with the mechanical jobs along side my QA responsibilities and so far, I haven't missed a single deadline on a task assigned to me.

Realistically, how much should I demand? My current pay now is MYR 2000. I should mention that before this job, I had a year of working experience in a manufacturing company.

(can I shoot for double salary? Since I'm doing a 2 man job anyway... just hoping.)

JKR Mechanical Engineers

Hi guys, I got called for an interview for the post of Mechanical Engineer (J41, contract basis), sometime next week.

I just want to ask to you MEs in JKR (or if you know a friend who's an ME in JKR), what is the job scope? And (usually,) how long is the contract?

When the contract is over, does JKR provide permanent employment opportunities?

Last but not least, what are the benefits of working with JKR?
