Hi.. few days ago i put a glue type mouse trap at my porch to catch the rat culprit who ruin my orchid.

However i found 2 little sparrows trap in the glue 2 days later. They were still alive n i felt so guilty

I followed the instruction of the mousetrap to use cooking oil to free the birds from the glue n finally it did. They cant fly because they were too exhausted n they r covered with oil.

My question is... how to clean oil off the birds? How to shower them? Wat they eat? I wanted to make sure them get well n let them fly away. But i dono how... hope to get some advice

[HELP]Msn "myphoto" virus, Missing "folder option"

hi all sifu, my colleague had just kena virus after accepting a auto-generated file called "myphoto" from his fren in MSN, after tat, he keep sending the same file and msg to other in his list.

i try few attempts helping him to clean by using "msn cleaner" and its own Symantec antivirus but still doesnt work~

hence, i try to boot into safe mode but also failed.... and suddenly i realize, the "folder option" in the control panel had also gone missing when i was trying to view hidden files... wat should i do to "save" the pc.. loads of data inside... wana avoid formatting if possible..

p/s: the machine also not allow me to install the hijackthis... so.. cant post the log file here~

[Help] External sata hard disk driver for XP

hi, sorry if double posts...

i have just bought a samsung usb external sata hard disk. when i plugged the usb into my cpu, the window xp SP3 asking for driver and could not recognize my hard disk. However, i tried using other recent computer which is running on vista as well as XP SP3, it works.

is it something to do with the motherboard? i bought my computer some 2-3 years back. it is an AMD machine.

Can anybody helps? thanks~

Any one is using this graphic card? I would like to enhance its performance in Vista 32bit or Xp SP2 32bit, any good driver to optimize its performance without lagging, quite disappointed with its original driver's performance... cant even play the Pro-evolution 2008 in 1024X768 resolution....@@

Is overclocking helps? how to do it without burning my laptop~~ btw, my specs is as below

Asus Z99sc C2D 1.66G, 2GB RAM, Geforce 8400M G 128MB Dedicated Memory Turbo Cache 768MB Shared Memory, current OS is Vista 32bit SP1... gonna use XP if fed-up~!

Dual-boot pre-installed Vista with XP Media Center

Hi, I have just bought an Asus Laptop A8SC series with pre-installed Window Vista.
I am trying to multi-boot my lappy using Window XP Media Centre Edition.

After I installed XP in a new NTFS partition, the system can only boot into window XP every time I turn on my lappy.

I had followed some instruction from other forums to use VistabootPro 3.3.0 as boot manager. I followed the instruction to install the VistabootPro in XP OS, but the VistabootPro 3.3.0 prompted something about cannot detect the BCD registry and saying that it might be missing or corrupted.

I ignore all the prompts, and continue with the installation. Everything is ok until I perform the "diagnostic run". The VistabootPro prompt again and ask me to run as administrator in order to use the program. I had tried to run the program as administrator but same problem occurred.

Any one encounter the same problem as mine?? Anyone able to help me??
