Need some advise on Investment & Saving

Hi all, has been working for 5 years and need some advise and I am Chinese

Has been checking some topics in this section for few weeks and saw there is many people giving advise to people who like me not sure
about investment & saving.

Every months I will hav roughly 1.2K for Saving after deduction on my (Insurance/Car loan/Bill/Monthly spending) and having 25K saving now in Bank.
I do not have any FD or Investment in property, stock etc. But i really want to start now and seek for some advise.

So would like to check with Sifus here, understand that the money in normal Saving account % interested is low so is it better to keep it in FD?

As for investment, what is your advise for the newbie like me?

PS : can't afford high risk investment at the moment.

if buy Malaysia set PS3 from normal GAME shop also can get the warranty from any SONY official shop with the normal game shop receipt??

or only if u buy from SONY official shop ( sony center , sony style..etc) with the official receipt only we can claim the warranty??

because i want to buy new Malaysia set PS3 :)so want to know

anyone bought PS3 from normal game shop claim the warranty from SONY before pls feel free to answer my question...thanks \

WE 2009 League Online

For game discussion please refer to the Winning Eleven 2009 Thread under Playstation.

Rules & Regulations:
1. Each player must choose 2 teams, Home player has the advantage to choose which team they want and Away player cannot use the same with the Home player.

2. All player have to setup a room at server: IVAROV Lobby21(IF the lobby is full, then go to the next lobby)... when you set up a match room, name it as "Lowyat League" and setup a password: "lowyat" (To avoid some annoy"er" come in).

3. Ideally both fixtures(Home and Away) should be played on one night back-to-back with each player taking a turn as the ‘home team’ ie. setting up their own match room.

4. Matches to be 10 minutes long with 3 subs, but conditioning, stadium, etc is the discretion of the HOME player (no matches to include extra time or penalties).

5. In the event of a tie at the end of all fixtures, we will go to goal difference, then goals scored (if points, goal difference and goal scored are the same, we will have a playoff match)

6. Each players must play at least 4 games each week, since we decided to play home and away with the same opponent at one go. This simply means that you will play against 2 players each week. Any game that is schedule but there is no result from both sides will be consider as forfeited with no point to both side. If only 1 side can't make it, then 2-0 win will be award to the side who can make it. Delay is possible with both side agreeing to it for maximum of 1 week and must inform the organizer before the deadline of the match.

7. In a case of disconnect, any game that went beyond 60 minutes the result will be final. Anything less will require rematch.

8. Send the final result to me by mail at gimhowe@gmail.com (settle among yourself, only one side is needed to email the result)after the end of the match. Again i will like to point out that result in PM in lowyat will not be entertain. Only email!
State the following in your email with title "Lowyat WE2009 League". Use your lowyat nicks.

Scores and ranking table will be updated weekly so please check it when it's up in case of mistype/error.

9. Should we received more than 3 complaints that a certain players has caused a massive lag, we will then try out the game with the player. If it is true then the player will be disqualified.

The Hulk has arrived. Sort of. Filming for The Incredible Hulk, the next cinematic take on the rage-filled giant of Marvel Comics fame, began in Trenton yesterday.

But don't look for any towering superheroes or explosions: the actual Hulk is an entirely digital character, and scenes being shot here are relatively quiet.

The loudest noise is likely to come from the Bell 212 Twin Huey helicopters rented by the production team.

"We're thrilled to be here," executive producer Jim Van Wyck said yesterday during a brief interview.

The first scene was being filmed near the passenger terminal along Highway 2 at the base's eastern limit. Crews were planning to be shooting between about 3 p.m. and 3 a.m. both yesterday and today.

"We're getting some footage of Hummers and commandos coming through a gate," Van Wyck said, as extras in green camouflage milled around near the crew.

He said the Trenton shooting will amount to "probably about five to 10 minutes" in the final feature and involve mostly shots on the runway, with some filming happening inside a Canadian CC-130 Hercules air transport.

"People that work here will certainly recognize the base" on the screen, he said. "We're very excited about shooting C-130s and the base."

He added that comes with its own challenges.

"The biggest thing is we're inside a restricted area and so we need constant help from the base, and they've been incredibly supportive and helpful," he said, giving special recognition to Capt. Nicole Meszaros, a public affairs officer at the base.

The movie stars Edward Norton as scientist-turned-superhero Bruce Banner and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Banner's girlfriend and fellow scientist.

William Hurt takes over the role of her father, the Hulk-hunting Gen. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.

Tim Roth is Emil Blonsky, who in the comic books becomes the supervillain known as the Abomination after exposing himself to the same radiation that unleashed Banner's inner Hulk.

Of the major players, only Hurt and Roth are here. Neither was on the set for yesterday's initial shot.

The extras, meanwhile, are playing U.S. soldiers.

"Pretty much everybody is from this area," said Van Wyck.

Marvel's typically secretive security on the set makes even the base's usual military restrictions seem easygoing. All photography apart from production stills is banned, and Van Wyck said apologetically that very little can be said about the actual plot.

"All I can tell you is he's still being pursued," he told The Intelligencer last month. "The Hulk is a good soul. He's a defensive creature.

"It's just when he's attacked that he responds ... The response is usually fairly devastating and that's why he wants to find a cure: to rid himself of this thing that he becomes."

The devastation, however, is being saved for locations such as Toronto and Hamilton, where the pyrotechnics will be used. No such special effects are being shot in Trenton, Van Wyck said.

Filming is expected to last 18 weeks: 15 in Canada, two in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and one in New York.

Louis Leterrier (The Transporter, Alien: Resurrection) is directing; the screenplay has been written by Zak Penn, who also wrote the last two X-Men films.
