Insurance Process after a collision !

Hi everybody,

I hoped somebody can kindly advise me here, 'cos am not so familiar with the insurance process !

I just got a call early this morning from a relative of mine in JB that her son has gotten into an accident. But thank God,... it was a minor one.

No physical injury to both sides, and my nephew's car is fine.

But the other car that got involved in the accident with my nephew's suffered some damages, for which it may possibly cost a certain amount to repair. Apparently the other car is a Beemer, and the door is disfigured.

A police report was made, the judgement by the JB police was that my nephew was in the wrong. Got a compound.

So I believed, as in everywhere else, the opposing driver will claim against my nephew's third-party insurance, am I right please ?

Secondly, well,... the car belongs to my brother (his father), and his name is not in the insurance policy. The question would be : if his name is not in the insurance policy, how would the opposing driver be able to make a third-party claim please ?

Will there be any other problems arising from this unfortunate event ?

Dear all,

I provide below some costings for your renovation :-

1) Labour/Workmanship :-

Using Indonesians :-
a) Specialised Skills : RM 80.00 per day
b) Normal Skills, Cement Mixer : RM 60.00 per day

2) Materials (I will use Malay here because this was how I communicared with the Indons) :-

a) Batu Konkrit, '6-fun' stones : RM 65.00 per scoop

b) Batu Simen (Cement Bricks) : RM 132.00 per pallet of 600 pcs

c) Simen : RM 15.00 per bag

d) Pasir Halus : RM 65.00 per scoop

e) Pasir Kasar : RM 55.00 per scoop

f) Dawai Pengikat Besi : RM 3.00 per kilogram

g) Batu Kapur : RM 2.80 per bag

h) Besi Y12, 12m long : RM 22.00 per rod

i) Besi Link R6 (Round Bar), 11m long : RM 8.00 per rod

Thus, the worker will need to estimate how many days and how many personnel needed to do a job, this will provide the Labour/Workmanship Cost.

The same worker will also need to estimate the materials needed, and the quantity to do the job, this will provide the Materials Cost.

Add up the 2 above and we will get the total cost required.

If anybody can provide better costings than the above, please do tell so.

If I have made any mistakes in the above, please do highlight as well.

Black-colored water closet (WC)

Hi again,....... can comebody advise me where to buy a black-colored WC please ? Looks like white WCs are everywhere, and some brands do have other colors too - but looks like NOT black-colored.
