-Provide operational and technical support to end users including installation, configuration, upgrading and troubleshooting of hardware/applications, network and router knowledge.

-Provide and resolve support duties to staff (e.g. troubleshoot configuration and maintaining of IT equipment; such as desktops, notebooks, Office365 and Photostat machine).

-Able to answer end user support queries in person, on the phone and via email.

Requirements:
-At least 1 year of working experience and knowledge in the related field is required for this position.

-Experience in assembling PC, troubleshooting Windows OS, basic networking and Microsoft based application.

-Self-motivated, ability to work independently as well as being a good team player.

-Willingness to learn and training will be provided.

GSC to give away 25K tickets, it’s no April’s Fool joke

The public need only present GSC newspaper cinema listings or the GSC 25,000 tickets giveaway advertisement in selected newspapers to redeem the free tickets from 10am onwards on Sunday. Alternatively, the free ticket redemption coupons can also be found on GSC’s website (gsc.com.my) or their facebook (facebook.com/Gscinemas).

Each redemption coupon or advertisement can be used to redeem two tickets each for the same screening and each person will be limited to a maximum of four tickets at GSC ticketing counters, on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

To redeem the ticket, you must be 12 years and above and the tickets are not valid for GSC Signature, GSC Maxx, Gold Class, Premiere Class and Digital 3D movies.

Following the establishment of an anti-pornography task force in Indonesia, Religious Affairs Minister Suryadharma Ali said that skirts that fall above the knee would be included in the working group's definition of pornography, on which it would base its future work.

"We will arrange meetings with different stakeholders from the public to get input on how they understand pornography, and I'm sure that they will come up with different definitions [of pornography]," he said.

"However, there must be a set of universal criteria to define something as pornographic, of which one will be when someone wears a skirt above the knee."

Suryadharma was tapped by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to run the body on a daily basis.

Once a standard of pornography was established, the task force would apply it nationwide across all ethnicities, he added.

Attempting to curb the distribution of pornographic materials across the country, the President recently established a task force on the management and prevention of pornography as a body to implement the 2008 Pornography Law.

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysians who register before this Sunday will have the opportunity to vote if the 13th general election is held in June or after.

Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said the electoral roll for the first quarter of this year would close on March 31 and the 1/2012 quarter supplementary electoral roll is expected to be gazetted in May.

"If the applicants are not involved in the objections, they are eligible to vote," he said when contacted, here, on Wednesday.

He was asked whether Malaysian citizens who registered as voters in the first quarter of this year would be able to vote in the 13th general election if it is held in June or after.

Meanwhile, Abdul Aziz said the electronic year-long voter registration system (Sistem Pendafter Pemilih Sepanjang Tahun - e-SPPST) was still on, whereby the registration was being carried out daily, and reviewing and gazetting of the electoral roll done every three months.

He said the registration of voters until the gazetting process would take about four and a half months.

"On average, the EC handles 200,000 to 250,000 new voter registration applications and change of address of polling centre for every quarter of the year.

Up to the last quarter of 2011 ending Dec 31, the number of registered voters nationwide was 12,595,268 while 3,088,540 or 19.7 percent had yet to register as voters."

Up to February this year, he said, the number of Malaysians who had reached the age of 21 and eligible to vote stood at 15,683,808.

New voter registration applications or change of address of polling centre can be made at any computerised post office, the EC mobile registration counters, or the counters at the EC headquarters in Putrajaya or state EC offices. - Bernama

Unemployed man charged with Nurul Nadirah's murder

JOHOR BARU: An unemployed man has been charged with the murder of five-year-old Nurul Nadirah Abdullah (fondly known as Dirang) at an oil palm plantation on March 1.

Muidin Mydin, 24, nodded his head after the charge that he murdered Nurul Nadirah (pix) at the plantation was read to him.

He faces the death sentence upon conviction under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

No plea was recorded.

im using WLM 8.5.1302.1018 but just now cant on9 due to must install latest WLM den can on9
i dun wan install latest WLM bcoz i heard from other forummer that its eat RAM.
So how to keep using this old version but WLM din force us to update latest WLM?

ps: im using windows vista
i wan stick to 8.5 and dun wan upgrade to WLM 9

how 2 get back data inside C: desktop

now my primary windows had been corrupted and cannot logon into the windows...
and now i was installed 2nd windows, its can logon and can be adjustment....
the questions is how to get the files back from the primary windows at desktops???

(size inside C drive remain unchanged,just used 1-2gb for secondary windows and primary windows got admin password)

ps: in C:/document and settings got my folder name inside but un-accessible,access is denied,how 2 remove the admin password n can access the folder?

when i plug my ext hdd to my auntie acer laptop,den its installing device,i ignore it..for d 1st time its work fine,suddenly hang..so i unplug n plug again..then d ext hdd din drive din appear after i plug in...wat happen???i plug into desktop also cant detect..any1 can help me?
