Stray cats in neighbourhood

My taman has several stray cats and I too keeps 4 cats and 2 dogs in the house. Previously I let my cats roam free until this year when a new neighbour A shift in and brought a new Vios, he keeps complaining my cats climbs on his car and scratch his car. Things wasn't that bad until I heard from another neighbour B that neighbour A want to poison all the cats. Afraid that it may happen to my cats hence I decide to lock them up indoors.

So I had spent RM1k plus to build a customized cage at the backyard and keep my cats indoors. Of course my cats weren't happy about it and refuses to eat. When walking the dogs I was afraid that they might pick up some residue of the poison and so I did not walk my dogs for days.

Now the problem is that I still feed the strays that come to my house and recently the female has given birth to 4 kittens. It gave birth outside my house at the shoerack and today what happens was the mother cat brought her litters to milk underneath my neighbour A car.

Yes one of the kittens died and mess up pretty badly on his car porch. I was busy waxing my car in the compound and he manage to caught hold of me and start blaming me for "not taking care of MY cats". I told him that my cats are locked in and this are strays.

Relatively I do not own these cats as I am unable to provide spaces for more cats and logically I couldn't be owning every stray cats in the neighbourhood. I'm just providing them food.

Does that make it my fault?

Noisy Dog

Hi,

Need advice. I just shifted new house and my Golden Retriever keeps barking at whatever cats that pass by and also passerby. Even barks at night at those cats which leads to my neighbours complain. The local council came twice because of complains but they are unable to do much except to inform us that there was complains (because we have dog license)

How can I train my dog not to bark that often? I don't think I would want to debark it (seems cruel)

hi..

just wondering if there's any hair stylist to recommend? I usually patron to Thomas and Guys and APT and sometimes feel that these hairstylist are not reasonable paid enough that they have to promote treatments, hair coloring, etc. and I usually come home with bottles of "I wont be using" shampoos, conditioners, hair treatment, etc and I'm really getting tired of all these.

Make matter worst, I would want to try new hair styles which suits me best and going to most saloons I still come back with the same old school girl cut. I'm thinking of a versatile makeover before an important meeting. So I am hoping if there's anybody here could recommend me a proper hair stylist/image consultant

Property Rental

I've recently brought an auction property on a low cost apartment. Bank loan just approved and now am handling the name transfer etc. The agent told me while waiting for such, I can start advertising and immediately there's a serious tenant. We inspected the property and found there were many defects as listed below
1. leaking water tank
2. broken toilet sink
3. main pipeline replaced with pvc pipe instead of steel pipe
4. huge crack outside the house (not much of an issue since the property is built on mining area)
5. no ECB fuse (other tiny fuse are there but the big fuse isn't, i don't know what are their uses as I'm no electrician)

Thus the tenant offer to fix all those as long as I deduct the rental (which is onlyRM300/mth). So shall I let him fix it and deduct rental? or pay it off once he fixed it? I'm just worried that after fixing in rental deduction, i'm afraid another problem crops up and he would offer to fix it again, and another rental deduction?

Also the crack i would prefer that the developer fix the problem. Since it's an auctioned property, I wonder how do I go about the outstanding bills like TNB which is under the previous owner name (OUTSTANDING RM350) and water bills of RM700) ? Maintenance outstanding are borne by the bank.

The tenant is somehow a contractor for plumbing and etc, he fixes everything.

by organizing a fun filled day for the dogs, canine lovers and kids
by enabling dog lovers to meet and socialize

-to create a platform to teach
both the responsible dog ownership as well as the pleasure of owning a dog.

History of Dogathon
The problem of stray dog has always been an issue in our society, but somehow it has never been properly addressed. 12 years ago, the veterinary students of Faculty of Vetrinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia made a decision to address this issue through an even they called Dogathon

Dogathon started in 1997 as a platform in addressing the issue of Stray Dog Awareness. This was one way the society could directly, and animals, indirectly play a part in addressing this issue.

Therefore, Dogathon was initiated as a charity drive, organized by the 3rd year veterinary students of Faculty of Vetrinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dogathon is held annually to reaise funds in aid of 'Stray Dog Awareness' programs and assist annual activities of Zoologico Club. Even with its serious missions, it is still a fun-filled even, giving exposure to all types of dogs and dog owners to indulge in something out of ordinary.

The main highlight of the event is the Dogathon Race where dogs and owners are required to run for 2.5km in the early morning coolness under the shady tress of UPM.

Every year, great games and acitivities for both dogs and owners have been a hallmark of each dogathon.

Dogathon is unlike any other dog show where dogs are caged up for the purpose of exhibition. It is an event where pedigree and non-pedigree dogs are all welcome to participate in.

Main Events
a) Dogathon Space Race
This is the highlight event of Dogathon in which both dog and it's owner will go on a marathon run about 2.5km around the serene grounds of Bukit Ekspo. Participants will run through a few obstacles that will prove challenging albeit fun! All dogs must be on leash.

b) Fastest Eating Duo
In this game, the dog will compete to finish delicious food sponsored by our sponsors whilst their owner will have to accomplish a simple task at the same time finishing their food in the fastest time!!

c) Dogathon Space Idol
Dog and owner gets to parade their beautiful outfits of their own design. Be it dancing, singing or jumping, does your dog have what it takes to be the next Dogathon Space Idol? Dogs will be judges on custome, orginality and antiques. Other titles to be won are Most Talented Dog, Most Compatible Pair, and Best Theme Custume.

d) Alien Says
Listen intently to the instructions given by the Alien and you will not be eliminated, If you and your dog are able to please the Alien, he will reward you with generous prize! This is a fun and simple game to test your listening skills and how well your dog can follow instructions.

e) RESG-UFO
Run to the end of the track and have your dog bite on only one OBJECT before running back to the starting line and throw it into a basket. Throw in as many OBJECTS as you can within a limited time frame to bring home fabulous prize.

f) MKA Demonstration

MKA will be back again with Dogathon 2008 to demonstate on obedience, agility and provide tips on simple training to promote Canine Good Citizen Program. Be sure not to miss this event

BelleG Sugar Glider Sales Thread

There she posted 2 male and a female for sale. I was interested for a female as a partner for my current sugar glider who is lonely.

We COD on 24 Feb 2007 (Saturday).

Why I didn't check the sugar glider sex before paying her?
1. The COD took place inside her car with a dog. I was afraid that the dog might eat the SG up since I have just recently heard horror story of a cat eating such an expensive delicacy (the sugar glider) from carsonel
2. The SG was crabbing away and BelleG asked me to becareful in case the SG flys off.
3. So I asked if BelleG can take it out for me... but she can't. (namely judging her actions indicated she lacked of experience in handling SG)

So that night when I finally manage to tame the Sugar Glider and noticed there is a ball instead of a pouch. Thus I called BelleG regarding this and she got someone to talked to me saying that the SG is a female as the anus and the vagina are close together. So I went over to my neighbour who is a vet to confirm it. Then I told BelleG the confirmation it's a male and asked to arrange the exchange. She said Sun she isn't available thus only Mon she would COD and WILL CALL TO ARRANGE THE TIME AND VENUE.

However Mon passed by still no news. I called her on Mon 6pm once and around 10pm once. Then on Tues on 10am a few times till I literally got fed up of calling an unanswered phone.

Thus I PMed her...asking her why she didn't pick up the phone. And she asked me back "Got my PM?"

Then I told her my mailbox is empty and there is no PM.

MOBO problem

I'm having a lil trouble with my motherboard. This morning tried to on it, but it gave a loud POP. Then after that I can't start the PC at all...

I open the casing, and there's still the on board light. Then I clean the mobo a bit as it was dusty. After that, the proc fan can run and the casing gives out the HDD reading light. So I'm wondering is my MOBO dead yet? Or something else is dead?

I can't start my PC. Onboard LED light is on. But once I start, the CPU fan runs a while before stop. No beeps. I wonder what could be the problem?

Sudden Off

My PC suddenly off and it's very hard to on back. I have to unplug the mobo and power supply everytime I need to on it back. What is happening to my PC?

The weird thing is it happened after I use the paint brush to brush the dust off..is it any link to it... But the pc is super dusty..

The pc cannot start but the inboard mobo LED is still on. Just that the fan won't run and it won't start.
