Hotel With Deep Pool in KL, Penang & KK

Me and my daughter enjoy swimming. Whenever we travel to KL (and Penang or KK), we always look for a hotel with deep pool but there aren't many of these. Our favourite hotel in KL is Corus Hotel which has a depth of 2.1m but the pool is too short to swim.

We are middle aged travelers and don't have energy to spend outside long. Always return to hotel before 4 pm to rest and spend time swimming before dinner.

Why we choose deep pool? It's because deep pool often not crowded with kids and adults because we know many Malaysian don't know how to swim. They will stay away from the deep end side. So swimming in deep pool will give some space for us to swim and enjoy.

Any recommendations other than Corus Hotel? Thank you.
Financial support for property investment

Dear Expert,

I have a desire to start off my 1st property investment (either rental or capital gain) but I am not sure if I eligible to apply loan for buying more than one property. I already have a house (own stay) and if, let say my total expenses including mortgage is about RM1800 and my earning per month is about RM2500, is it possible for me to apply another housing loan to purchase another property for investment? Will any bank approved my loan and if cannot then how to convince the bankers to give me a loan for another property?

Hope if somebody is willing to share, how did property millionaires borrow so much money to buy more properties for investment?
Thank you!

Apply 2 loans at the same time?

Hi folks,

I am currently still in process to apply housing loan from bank for my new house (single storey). This house is for me to live. However, at the same time I saw an apartment selling below than market value at my area. I am really interested to buy this apartment as my rental property but I afraid that bank may reject my loan application due to my monthly commitments (car loan, my future house, insurance etc).

Is it possible to apply loan for this apartment but at the same time applying loan for my single storey house? Do bank knows that I am applying 2 housing loans for 2 different house at the same time? Will bank approved my purchase of apartment and will it affect my current loan application for my new ss house?
Thanks.
walk in interview-offshore

dear experts,

I will go for walk-in interview for offshore jobs soon. Jobs available are welder, pipe fitter, scaffolding & rigger. Minimum qualification is at least PMR. I am interested to apply one of these jobs especially rigger. I posses a diploma in electrical eng and have no experience at all in oil & gas field as I work in semiconductor almost 9 years. My questions are:

1. what should I know about these jobs especially rigger and what questions should I expected from interviewer?
2. does these jobs really need higher academic qualification (diploma/degree)?
3. may I know what is expected salary for rigger?
4. I often hear that offshore jobs usually based on contract basis. Is that true?
5. how tough is the job as rigger compare to others?

I hope that sifus here could help me coz this is good chance for me to start my career in oil & gas field.
Thanks.

I always have interest to further my studies to degree and till master degree but sometimes due to financial constraint and other personal reasons. It was happened before but not very often case.

My questions are:
1) So, is it possible for me to upgrade to master degree without go for degree level first? I am interested to do to master degree in research.

2) Would any private companies regconize my qualification (with no degree) and willing to employ me to any managerial or engineer positon job?

3) Is there any chance for me to become a lecturer in government or private universities?

4) Anyone has done this before?
$$ planning for never married man or woman

Nowadays in Malaysia there are many men and women who still unmarried or choose not to get married due to some reasons. Rarely peoples talk about this matter because all of us have desire to get married and have a kids. I have some friends who are still not married eventhough almost reach 40s but they are successful in their career. I mean they have a good job, lot of monies, have a house and nice car...Well in term of financial point of view, my questions for these group of peoples are

1. Should they buy a house and stay alone the whole life? Then who will own the house if they die?

2. Should they buy life insurance or medical card?

3. What will happen to all theirs assest such as car, house & investment after they die?

It maybe a stupid question but it is very common today. A lot of my frens say never married give them more freedom to enjoy, travelling & can save a lot of money coz no family to take care of.
Thanks.

I am just 30 years old but age this I started to worry if I could afford to retire early somewhere at age 40's. This topic is rarely discussed among my friends and I dont know are they ever worried about this. I am working in private company so of course dont have pension except EPF.
