I am looking for a very realiable and passionate nanny in SS3, SS2, kelana jaya or Taman Megah, petaling jaya (stay overnight) on weekdays. Any recommendation that can recommend to me?

My requirement:
Preferable Chinese family
Passionate and experienced in taking care babies (my child is currently 6 months old) - the family must love babies
Able to stay overnight on weekdays - allow the family to visit the baby in any time during weekdays (of course not very late at night)
House must be very clean, hygiene and child friendly environment (inclusive pet and smoke free)
Prioritize the kid’s health and will take care of their diet properly
Reasonable rate

Hope there are some good recommendation for reliable nanny.

postpartum hair loss

hi all,

i am on my third month plus ever since i delivered on end of March. Recently, i realized i have severe hair loss which i believe is cause by post natal. Im very depressed on my hair loss as it keeps on dropping a lot, despite i have change to a milder and natural shampoos and has been applying hair growth tonic all the while. Im worry very soon i will get bald..

I wanted to seek for advise from doctor regarding on my situation. Is any parents here know how to treat postpartum hair loss? Does those hair centre, such as yun nam, hair care 101, johnsson protein etc. helps?
Is there any 'hair / scalp' specialist around PJ area which is good that you can recommend?

breastmilk donation

Hi all,

Currently i have a 1 month old son. But due to some medication intake and health issues, Im not able to provide my breastmilk to him. Currently he is consuming formula milk.
Hearing that breastmilk is really very good for the infant, hence, im wondering if any mummy also having a 1 to 2 months old baby and having excessive breastmilk that would like to donate out (provided mummy is having balanced or normal / healthy eating habits with no smoking or alcohol intake). I would wish to get from you. Im staying at kepong (near FRIM), so preferable somewhere not too far from that area will be preferred.

English centre for kids

Hi parents,

My kid is turning into 4 in 2 months time. I am thinking to send him to English learning centre to build up his foundation in English so he won't be struggling in future especially entering into primary and secondary school. Since most of the family members here speaks mandarin with him (I'm the only one that speaks English with him, which i think it would not help too much), that is why im thinking to send him to English learning centre to build up his English language, in terms of his reading, writing and speaking.

Any good english learning centre that you could recommend? Preferable in Petaling Jaya area.
Im thinking of british council. Cambridge english for life, ericcan and vital years ( I just know these few centres that provides English program to toddlers). Are these centres good? Or any other centres that you could recommend?

hi parents,

i have a 3+ year old son. However, i realized he has a weak immune system..he tends to get sick very easily...like 2 -3 weeks once. It can be fever, running nose, coughing and so on.

Doctor have said that he has a very sensitive lungs , throats and nose, that is why he tends to fall sick easily. He had admitted into hospitals twice before because of viral infection (virus that attacks throats) and pneumonia (lung infection).

I am thinking of giving him some good supplements, hoping to boost up his immune system and to improvise his sensitivity on nose, throats and lungs. Is there any recommendation from all the parents that encountered similar problems?

**Remark: I am thinking to send him to learn swimming just to strengthen up his lungs (hope this helps), any good recommendation where can learn swimming in Petaling Jaya area during weekends?

Hi All,

I need to seek some advise from you. I understand nowadays, especially those consumable products (like health supplements / foods / drinks / pills) which sells through online or online agent, have very high possibility of getting a fake product or product that is not certified or approved by the government or MOH.

May i seek for advise, if let's say im interested with certain consumable products found online, how should i know whether is this product safe to be consumed or whether it is certified by the government to be safe to consume? What documents or things should i get from the seller to prove the safeness and authenticity of the products to consume?

Need your advise to guide me on this.

Hi All,

Im in the midst of surveying a good preschool / nursery for my soon-to be 3 year's old son next year 2017. Does anyone of you have any recommendation or good review for kindergarten which is located either at PJ, SS3 or Kepong, Taman Daya / Taman Ehsan?
My main concern of the kindergarten as below:-
1) Friendliness of teachers and principal
2) Teaching Methodology - i prefer a more open concept instead of those conventional type of teaching method. So far, i only know either Montessori of Fungates method that provides such open teaching concept.
3) Hygienic, good environment and children friendly on its surroundings and facilities.
4) Programs available.
5) Fees - this is the last concern. I would prioritized my concern for the 1st four above first.

To all papa mamas, please help to suggest or recommend some good ones, as im still cracking my head on which kindy to select best eventhough i have did some surveys. =(

Additional question: Is real kids@kampung tunku, smart readers@SS3 & Q-dees@SS3 good and recommended?

Hey girls,

Need some advice.
I am looking for a facial sunblock but need to be slightly tinted (which helps to cover up some of of my blemishes as i seldom put on make up daily) and i need it to gives strong hydration (at least a SPF 30) with a reasonable price. Oh ya...have to suitable for sensitive skin as well...

Any recommendation of which brand i can use and where can i get??

Reason of why i do not opt for a normal untinted sunblock because i do not really put on make up daily, hence, i need to rely on the tinted sunblock to cover up some of my blemishes and spots minimally. I tried before using untinted ones..but my skin tends to get oily and dark after for some time..

Hi all mummies,

I have a question here. How long usually will u come your period after your delivery? (despite the immediate period once you delivered, which lasted for few weeks).

I undergo caesarean about 4 months ago (april'14) to deliver my 1st child. Right after that, my period comes immediately and it lasted for 3-4 weeks if not mistaken (which stops about end of april'14 or beginning of may'14). But until now, there is no sign of having period thereafter, it has been close to 3 months soon..........is this normal???when will the period comes again??

Btw, initially i breastfed my child, but eventually i stop breastfeeding after the 3rd month.

Please advice....a bit worried....

im not sure is this the correct place to post my question...but anyway here is my concern:-

I have a 3 months+ old baby................but recently (starting from the 3rd month after delivering) i noticed that i have lose a lot, a lot, a lot of hair...my hair keep on falling especially when i wash, comb or dry (with hair dryer) my hair...i don even dare to look at the floor...this never happens to me before........i am very worry.....im gonna get bald soon
