So I recently started using Instagram which is a photo sharing app, sort of like twitter but for pics. anyone else got it? add me just search: georgstb

heres some info about it for those who dont know it or want to get it

The hugely popular Instagram borrows certain key elements from Facebook and Twitter--such as a stream and the ability to like or "heart" photos--making this app very addictive. And you'll find that most of your friends who own iPhones already have this app.

With Instagram, we could either take a picture with our iPhone or select an image from the camera roll. Afterward, the app let us apply 16 creative filters. Instagram can also simulate tilt-shifting to turn any photo into one of those neat, stylized squares. We could even see how the filters looked like with a live preview before snapping the shutter.

Instagram is all about making sharing your creations a cinch. The app supports Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, and other social networks.

There's no reason not to hop on the Instagram bandwagon and start turning random snapshots of your day into little pieces of art. It's fun, easy to use, and free.

Ok, so my friend dropped his Iphone 3GS and the screen cracked. Well, the pixels and image are fine, the part that cracked is the outer part of the screen, I think its a protective layer of glass or something... I'll try post pics soon
Does anyone know how much it would cost to repair or where I can repair it?

[WTA] Whats a good lens for wildlife pics?

Ok, so Ive had my Canon for a month or two now. I've been using the standard kit lens (18-55mm) since I got it but I would like to get something with better zoom.
The main reason I want it is too take pics of wildlife or landscapes.
I wanted to know what focal length I should look for, the most common I've see are the 18-200mm, 70-300mm but I have never tested any of them myself and wouldnt like to be disappointed with the outcome. I've been using Pn'S cameras alot longer than DSLR and was wondering how these focal ranges compare with a pn's optical zoom (for example 18-200mm same as ABCx optical zoom or so).
Also, I read somewhere on the net that lenses with smaller apeture become less sharp when zoomed in, I was wondering how true this is and how much the sharpness degrades by.

Hopefully someone cam help me understand this better, I've been searching on the net trying to understand but its still all quite blury to me.
Maybe one of you guys could suggest a nice lens to try (not very expensive one, hopefully bellow rm900)

Hi, I am very interested in getting a DSLR camera. Im mainly interested in these models:

Canon - 1000d, 450d
Nikon - D70
Sony - a200 or a300

Seeing as I virtually have no experience with these type of cameras, I would like to ask if there are any other notable models in the same price range and out of these stated, which is better or nicer to use (speaking interms of Menus GUI, availability/price and variety of lenses available, picture quality, quality of the camera itself etc).
I was also considering getting a secondhand one, about this, I would like to ask how much do these cameras wear and tear? does the picture quality deteriorate or do those flashes that pop out on some models easily become loose? (i know this depends on the previous owner, I was just wondering if there are any models or companies that tend to go through this faster?)

any suggestions or input would be greatly apreciated

I got myself a P6n SLI platinum motherboard some time ago and was considering SLI maybe but first... which label is better????
One of my main questions is: ATI or Nvidia?

Hi, Im situated in Melaka and I own a Ball Python . I just noticed that my licence expired sometime ago ... what can I do or where can I go to get a new one or renew this one? and how much would it cost? and would i be fined for letting it expire?
