Sciatic nerve injury

Hi, I'm just a 20-year-old but I think I've gotten myself a case of sciatica. The pain starts from my lower back and radiates all the way down my right leg. It's been about 4 days since it started.

My my mom took me to this Chinese medical centre to see this doctor who is good with nerve issues. So, I endured an excruciating 20 minutes session of probing and massaging which have left me with ugly bruise marks on my back. I have to go back there two more times.

The thing is now I'm contemplating whether to go back there and let myself go through another two sessions of twisting pain or should I just quit the treatment and let the sciatica heal on its own?

Thanks.

Centres/Schools to take O' Levels or similar exams

Hi there,

I have this close family friend whose daughter went through a rebellious phase and ran away. She only has a cert in PMR. Now she's 20 and has returned home and wants to continue her studies.

But the problem is most schools private or government do not allow students who have passed the rightful age for each grade to enter. So her Dad asked me if I could help them look for centers or institutions that will allow her to finish her education even though she's at 20. Preferably O' Levels, not SPM.

Also, I was wondering if home schooling centers would allow her to enroll? Would anyone be able to furnish me with details of some centers around the areas of Sri Petaling and Cheras?

Thanks for your help!

Song recommendation for a 3 minute music video

Hi there, I have this assignment/task to record a min. 3 minute video that relates to any aspect of communication and society.

So my group members and I have decided that our video will capture and show the lives of 4 different people where in public they put up a facade but back home they have something else going on eg. completely different attitudes.

Basically, that's the concept/idea we've come up for the video and throughout the video, the entire length of the chosen song will be played. No audible dialogues.

Okay, just to be clear I'm looking for song recommendations, NOT anything about the concept behind the video.

Thanks in advance and cheers.

Can you help me fill up this survey? [age 13-20]

Yeah, so I've got this survey up which I need people between the age 13 to 20 to fill up.

It's for my English Research Paper and it's regarding premonitions in the form of dreams. If you aren't sure what premonitions are, it is being able to foresee the future.

Anyway, thanks. Merry X'mas. I deeply appreciate this.

http://www.tigersurvey.com/survey.php?survey=8723

Slight dilemma here

Okay, basically I've done a search through the forum and have gathered as much information as I can from the websites too.

My dilemma starts with initially I wanted to do ADP because I liked the system and how students are assessed. But then the overseas university I want to go to is in Australia.

So I looked at other options like maybe SAM or ICPU. I would say A-Levels would be my very last choice because I do not like it that students only have to study their butts off for the final exam.

What I'm seeking here is just some comments from students who have done SAM or ICPU on how it is and which uni to study at. And the cost too. Also, I'm planning to get a degree in journalism/mass comm.

Thanks a lot.

My dog got bitten

Hi, I own a female miniature pinscher. Just now while we were walking a stray dog suddenly dashed out of nowhere and bit her. She was crying and screaming right there. I almost wanted to cry there as well. It bit her on the back. It's bleeding now and from what it looks (to me), it looks pretty painful. What do I do now? Other than taking her to the vet? She's in shock right now, wouldn't come to us when we call her and she's been hiding under tables and now on my brother's bed.
