looking for AVR suggestion

Greetings!

Newbie here seeking advice from all the pros here on what to AVR to get.
I'm looking for AVR with price range between 1000 - 1500.
Few that I've come across is the onkyo 309, 508.
Interested also with the 509 but not sure what's the price.

I am going the pair the AVR with wharfadele diamond 8 speakers (front, center, and surround) + ephiphany sub.

So what do you guys suggest (what avr and where to get) . THanks a bunch!

hi everyone.....

Im in my final semester of my diploma in cs (doing practical training rite now) and I've jas been offered a position as a Software Developer/Programmer at a local software company. Will start working next month. I was offered rm1900 salary during probation (3-6 months)...and there'll be rm200 increment after that. I think the salary is average..what are your opinions?

and let say I work for the company for 2-3 yrs...gain as much experience and skills...and then decide to jump to other company. With my experience...what is the range of salary increment i could expect and which company I could aim for?Since most companies looking for degree holders, there would be fewer positions that I can apply for. I've a plan to get a degree..bt since there are some constraints tht I've to consider in the mean time, I've to work first and maybe continue my education in a part time course next year. I really appreciate your feedbacks and opinions...
