Hi forumers. I need someone who can help me repair an Alpine CDA-9813. The OP-Amp has been replaced but still no sound. After checking each component one by one (took 2 weeks) i was told that it is the Volume Control IC. No sound was coming from the headunit itself. Can someone lead me to the right direction here. Im willing to pay as long as the price is right. I want to revive this player.

todei i try to recover my old2 email and to my surprise.... i managed to open my old hotmail acc. oh the years and years of memory. so nostalgic. when i was 14 years of age, i started to use hotmail email. that time manada facebook.jpg the only latest was friendster saja. anyway, was talking bout email. when i check back all the sent msgs, inbox dated back to 2003, i really LOL. from first love mails to break ups n such smoochy2 texts. i just quote what i ever wrote and quote some replies cuz its too epic

i know this is not dispute thered or what but i need your help. I posted a advert on mudah today. Suddenly le wild dato apear (not sure if real or not but sounds so convincing) and asked me for it. Here is the cold story.

Today i went to one of this shopping place la to buy some groceries. On our way back, my waifu ask me to tapau popia. Walking to the stall, i called the girl there. "Dik, popia 3 inggit ngan cucur singgit" at that time, her back was facing me so it look like shes just wearing a tudung, but when she turn around i only saw eyes like ninja (wearing niqab) so i accidentally said "WTF kita tok di syria ka?" den her parents straight siong me like they type of siong u normally get when someone "beh song" with you. I terkejut what. I rarely see orang macam tu. Full ninja suit , SWAT suit on man. Den she just take the popiah and cucur, as i left i told my wife, sooner or later this will be an arab state where women are literally nothing (in our local language) still infront of the store, makin jadi they siong me. I just walk off without giving a fak.

This kind of thing i susah nak tengok happen. Its like the whole culture change. Kesian see them wear it if its forced. If ikhlas den nvm lah. I wonder their mindset macam mana pulak. Still as usual or already gone sideways like karibun.

Hi guys. Finally i have reached to a point where i dont think i need to upgrade any of my ICE anymore. Im very satisfied on this build already. Also i love to have my own build log for future reference. No showing off intention here. This build is a newbie's build in my journey of SQ. Some Pics to share

1. My Headunit I opted for this CDA-9886 instead of a mainstream CDA-9887 because it has a USB Ready input and comes along with an ipod cable. I have my ipod with me. I barely use USB sticks. Combo it with a PXA-H100 to unlock its Imprint. If not, i would only have bass and treble with no xover. 9886 is just a blank headunit with multiEQ ready @ imprint. Smexy PXA-H100 there. Set all my netowrks to External AP and on the PXA-H100 at 3WAY. Here im running a 3 way active front and a sub at rear. How did i do that? In the imprint menu, after i switched the switch at the side of the processor to 3 WAY. i got this feature for xover. Low, Mid-L, Mid-H and High. Set them to their respectively FS, Low at 40Hz, Mid low at 40HZ too since its a mirror. Mid High at 315Hz HPF and high at 5Khz HPF the Sub and Mid Low, i used a Y splitter and manually adjust the gain from the amp itself. In time alignment mode, i set the distance following my mid low instead of sub. The sub will always be played at a barely heard level. Humming together with my mid low's. the Mid High is set at 18db i will post a video of it running one of these days.

2. My Amps. I did not take a photo of my new PG Ryval Designs 2.150 here. Im so sorry. I will upload it again when i have the chance. These amps are all Ryval Designs amps.
- A4.75 (high, mid high)
- A2.75 (mid low)
- A2.150 (sub-W)

All running active NOW

3. My Speaker driver! cheapo entry level morel maximo 6.5" These are running actives. Discarded the passive xovers here

and my 2.8" mid drivers are from SG Acoustics. Made in thailand. Response frequency at 300Hz

4. My first A-Pillar built. Looks like crap as im still learning in the method of DIY'ing
