hey guys, i got problem with my i7 6700k with overcloacking issue in which cant overclock due to high temp reaching 100'c at 4.5ghz. Even running on turboboost 4.2ghz at 100% cpu usage manage to get 70-80'c. most of the time use it normal usage for work, sometimes rendering and gaming.

Bought from idealtech, meaning that easily for them to replace a new one and they already stated to me that i can get the rma within 2 weeks++.

The question is that, is it worthy to replace the 6700k with 7700k? In terms of money i dont have any problem to buy new one 7700k, but how about functionality and worthness of the new processor? Thanks

High Gain Antenna

Hi guys, need your help to solve my current problem regarding to improve reception for my 3G Celcom or any telco service.

Basically my village house does not have internet connectivity either from Telekom or any 3G provider. Sometimes I do get 2-3 bars of mobile phone coverage. But unable to get 3G connection, manage only for GPRS. I do have 3G, but only for a few second.

But when I left my village house, I do get 3G connection, which around 200-400 meter away from home.

My question is, how do I can get those 3G coverage for my home? I do look around looking for 3G High Gain Antenna, but I do not fully understand which type of antenna is suitable for my problem.

Monitor Recommendation

Hey guys, would like to have you guys to give opinion regarding to the monitor that I would like to buy. Currently in dilemma choosing which gaming monitor that is suitable for me.

Right now using Dell S2316H monitor. After while, I notice that when playing some of the games, the display would tearing and its pain in the eye. Even though the game is 100++ fps, still tearing. Most of the game are set in High, Ultra.

I went lurking around on the monitor, I did find some of it are interesting to pick. But do not know whether it is reliable, good quality or reasonable price.

However, DOES GTX1060 performance would be affected by the 1080p or 1440p by some of the monitor?

Can GTX1060 support high frame rates especially those above 27 inch monitor? Like in Acer Z35 monitor
Here's some of the list that I interested:

1. Dell S2716DG (G-Sync) 144hz
2. Acer Predator Z35 (Curve, G-Sync) 200hz
3. Aus PG279Q (G-Sync) 165hz
4. Acer Z271T (Curve, G-Sync) 144hz

My budget is around RM3000-RM4000.

Casing Fan Sometimes Spinning, Sometimes Dont

Hey guys, need some insight regarding to my rig. Last night I bought an Gigabyte GTX1060 6gb Extreme Gaming. After install the GC, I noticed that the fan on the case are not spinning for a sometimes. After that it will run again, then shut off for a short of period.

Before this when using GTX750ti no problem, but when change to GTX1060, weird thing happen just like this.

The only thing I am afraid whether the PSU is not sufficient enough for 1060.

Here is my spec rig.

i7 6700k cpu
Z170 pro gaming motherboard
16gb ram 2133
2x SSD 250GB
1TB HDD
4x Case fan
Cryorig A40 watercooled
xigmatek x-calibre 500watt

1. On the 1st picture, the fan that is standing is not running(power pin is connected to chassis 1), meanwhile on the top of the back is running(power pin is connected to cpu opt).[attachmentid=8455337]

2. 2nd picture, the intake fan, only one fan are spinning, the other are not although they are both connected to same power pin(chassis 2). Graphics cards are also stop running when under certain temp.[attachmentid=8455338]

3. 3rd picture, all the case fan are running if games are playing, and the graphics card are also spin(after reaching certain temp).[attachmentid=8455339]

Fan for radiator are constant running at all this scenario.

I tried setting the fan to spin in Asus AI configuration (even the graphic card fan are stop). Non of that setting are helping, unless, I set the config to turbo, then all the fan(exclude GC fan) spinning again.

Hey guys, just want to know is there anyone who actually use or know about the of Apple Macbook Air able to run Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and etc without problems?

I have read some of the reviews in the internet stating it would be possible to run, but the GPU would not able to work as fast as the Macbook Pro. Is there any of you guys have experience using Macbook Air as a tool for designing?

Hope you guys can give a comment and suggestion what I should pick, caused I never used any Apple laptop before.
