Greeting all sifoos,

Hi, as per topic, i'm trying to connect to 2 lcd monitors with my company desktop.
The desktop have only 1 monitor output. So for 2 lcds, mena i need :

1.additional graphic card?
2. or got those adapter which sub out two head for connecting 2 LCDs?

Server Recommendation

Hi to Sifoos here,

My Company want to buy a server for system database storage.
Database or file stored in the server will be access by the user more than 10 users. (Thats why we have to change from XP Pro which have 10 Connections Limit).
So just wish to simply plug back this new server and have the user access to the database and files for 15 users. We not going to use any active directory / domain controller setups, just plain network sharing file in workgroup. The database is for a Lan BAsed Application.

1. What spec of server shall i look for?
2. Possible to use high end desktop and install with window server 2003? What is the asic requirement spec?
3. What version of Win server 2003 i need for this more than 10 users connection? SBS/Standard/CAL?

Hi to all photographer here..i just collected a free gift Sony DSC-S2100 camera.
playing around with it's function..well..just curious about this video shooting..is it that it cannot record down the video sound?
or do i miss out something? i set the camera sound not to "beep" for every press, will this affect the video recording on sound?

Gong Hee Huat Chai...Wish to have some advice here. My bro having a service aprtment which is 80% build up. The dateline of handling key is delayed for about 6 months - 1 year. Well, my bro is abit fed up with this delay. by the way, the had started to pay back the loan quite sometime ago, he wish to know issit possible to REFINANCE this property which is only 80-90% finishing?

Hi to all sifos around here..i had a desktop with the as below:
P4 2.8ghz, 1.5 g Ram.
ATI radeon 9200 AGP
Creative soundcard.
Mobo-Intel D865gbf.
Currently just format/install to Windows 7 from Xp.

1 years back (when i was still in XP)when i turn on, the red LED blink and stop but the monitor seems no image at all.
i try push agp, Ram and Sata Cable, then some time maybe able to Turn On.
But if able to Turn On, it might HAng and restarted then it cant turn on again.

Just curious what is the problem ? cause by mobo, agp, HDD or Ram? Or do i need to update the BIOS?

i'm just out of idea...

plz help and advise from sifoos here..

XP Setup - HDD not detected

Hi, i think this topic maybe discussed before, but i am still confuse on the solution.
i tried to reformat my lappie. When boot from XP setup cd, half way of initializing the devices, it pop up a message saying cannot detect the hard disk drive or do not have hard disk drive. press F3 to quit.

any advice can provide me...thankss

i had following issue in my office.
My Account department 's PC hang due to another pc at same LAN Turn On.
Issit there are such problem exist and happen to u all before?
this is what the Hardware guy excuse to me after he check the account's new pc .

firstly we tot mayb that guy install the XP Pro OS inappropriately...but later he mention he reinstall liao...still same?!!
wonder he got reinstall or not?

So, he mention because of network configuration.
my current network configuration is every pc have their own fix IP. shud'nt be a problem rite.

any advise from all sifoos here is much much appreciated.

i ask lot plp, they said internet connection or dsl modem down shudnt be a problem to the network.

just t share my current setting:
-all pc are set with FIX IP
-USing DNS server addresses as well.

so the telekom dsl modem burn,
but both 8 port switch restarted and still lighting in every port..
even every pc LAN icon show connected..

BUT network cannot share file or printer.

Hang on Loading XP---HELP!

Hi everyone,

i had this problem whereby i reformat my pc already, after format and setup in bluescreen normally it will restart to go into XP for install the windows rite.
After restart to go in XP for installation ...it HANG at the Loading XP with the BLUE loading bar STOP there....for about more than 3 hours...then even i restart still HANG THERE...

Anyone can give advice of what is the problem?

Latest Update:
- use other same model harddisk connect to it and reformat..same..hang on XP loading.

-use other Ram replace...same..hang on XP loading

so what is the other possibility?
Mobo??!!
