Any other power adapter can charge Dell?

Hi, I would like to know that Dell laptop only allows Dell power adapter to charge the battery, not other brands also could charge the battery also? By the way, is all Dell adapter are suitable for all Dell laptop?

Now I face problem to charge my Dell laptop with NOT-Dell power adapter.
Any suggestion?

Dell eat my warranty! Help!

Hi,
This is what happen to me after buying a Latitude D620 last yr. I bought the laptop from a forumer in Lowyat.Net which still have warranty until 7/5/2010. Unfortunately, when I check my warranty status on 19 June 2009, Dell Support tell me that my warranty had expired and want me to renew my warranty. I didnt believe it because I juz comfirm my warranty on January 2009 that I still have warranty until 2010 when my battery spoilt. So I check on the internet, and my warranty dissapear!! I go and check on my package, that state I got bought 3 yrs Next Bussiness Day and shipped on 7/5/2007. Now I post the picture of my laptop status.

Hope someone can help me!!

I am using Ubuntu recently, and I tried many ways to connect to wireless network but cannot work. I already type in the passphrase but it still cannot connect and always ask me for passphrase. Help me!!

HDD disaster

I just buy a Seagate PATA 160gb HDD for my Dekstop last month, and I also replace it the next day I bought it, because the HDD got faulty, so consider it a bad reputation for Seagate because selling such bad quality HDD. Now since I exchange it, I install XP Pro into it. Since that day onward, I always get bluescreen and scandisk at the startup, as the longer the day go, my computer get even slow.

Then here comes the next problem, my computer can't shut down since last week. Yesterday, my computer hang all day long, even I restart many times. Today, when I open my computer, it shows " Error loading Operating System".

Is this the quality problem of a Seagate HDD? Or anything else?
Help me please!!!
