SMS Protect Down?

Hi, recently Blizzard identified my account as a 'potential hacked' account and asked me to change my password.

Problem is I'm not getting the confirmation code on my handphone number (Maxis) which I registered for SMS Protect.

Any bros/sis having the same problem here of not receiving the SMS from Battlenet? I've received the SMS before, so it should be all good.

Any updates from bros/sis who have received an SMS from Battlenet recently would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,

I've been having bad Streamyx issues (High Ping + packet loss) after testing using PingPlotter.

Tried restarting my modem over hundred of times, but my problem is still there. My IP alternates between 60.51.XXX.XXX and 60.52.XXX.XXX.

Are these 'bad' IP addresses? Live in Kuchai Lama, btw. =/

Life in a Big4

Just wanted to talk to people here.

I am working in a Big4 as my first job after coming out from public university. Before I joined, many of my seniors and the seniors above me repeated a mantra that I think many of you have heard before for those familiar/with a degree in accountancy.

"The working hours are long, and you will go crazy with work. But when you leave the firm four years later, you'll be in high demand."

With that in mind, I started my career with my chin tucked in, ready for whatever sh*t that the firm can throw at me. The mantra kept on playing as I worked till the wee hours of the morning ".... four years later, you'll be in high demand."

It's already been 2 years, and I'm a senior. The mantra.... has worked surprisingly well, and I can go on working for weeks without proper sleep, meals, or showers.

But I take a look around me and I'm worried. My relationship with my friends are terrible, since I only meet them once a month. My parents, I meet only in the evening when I return home after work but before they sleep. My gym membership card is picking up dust. Weekends are spent working, or catching up on much needed sleep.

I look at my seniors, those who have been here for far longer than me, and I see that things don't get easier. And what scares me even more is that it's an acceptable way of life for them. But I don't see myself living like them, working like them with only my job being the centre of my life.

Is it normal for those working for a long time in a Big4 firm to be like this? I look at the Partners in my firm working at 11-12am, and they are already 40-50-ish. Does it ever get easy in a Big 4 firm?

Problems of being single

Need help. Writing an essay/speech about the problems of being single, and I need some ideas/stories.

I mean, my friends are a handful enough. From wondering that I'm gay to saying I have high expectations to actually trying to introduce people to me, up till commenting me joining a gym is to oogle at chicks, I'm really wondering why I'm friends with this bunch anyway.

But what about you? Any fun stories to share?
