Intel wireless display(WiDi)

Hi ya'll,

Recently I came across this not-so-new technology called "Intel wireless display(WiDi)"!

It's actually available in most laptops(since the 2nd generation i5 & i7), however it requires a special adapter(belkin,d-link, netgear) that connects to your HDTV to work (More info of the adapters in the website above)...
Here come the problems, so far i can't find any place where these adapters are sold in malaysia. So, please share if you know where to get it, thanks.

Also, any further discussion of the topic is welcome... Especially sharing your experience using it..

Desktop for Full HD playback

I'm thinking of building a desktop for my brother,
he loves to watch tv series (at least 720p) and movies in full HD(1080p)
he does't play games that much (except for Dota)
Must have a HDMI output (sometimes he watches movies on HDTV) and
USB 3.0 as well, if possible at the front panel..

Budget: RM2K (including a 22"-23" monitor)

Can anyone suggest me the specs and if possible with an estimated price...

I'm thinking of changing my laptop to a netbook, but I love to watch tv series (at least 720p) and movies in full HD(1080p in .mkv)
I also need it to have a HDMI output (obviously I watch it on a bigger display!), and if possible a USB 3.0 as well... If possible less than RM2K (1.5k would be perfect!)

So can you guys suggest to me some netbooks that can fulfill my criteria?
