Hi guys — just ported to postpaid 60 for xpax. Main reason is to get 5g, which has been great so far. I’m curious tho — with unlimited social media on fb, yt, and insta capped to 6Mbps, does this mean I won’t get 5g speeds using those apps? Or does the speed cap for that only kick in when I finish my main quota of 20gb+20GB.

Paying off my MBPJ, JPJ, Polis, DBKL summons

Hey fellas. Wanted to ask for some clarification, would be great if there are any lawyers or those from the legal industry to offer some assistance.

I was pulled over yesterday by a JPJ truck for driving in the emergency lane, which was an incredibly stupid thing to do -- lesson learnt. Was initially worried about the legal ramifications given that the ticket I received actually said I was to go to court, although it was a compoundable offence. So I quickly went home and paid off RM300, all good.

However, that triggered me to check all my outstanding summons, which I have mostly cleared. Found one in MBPJ from 2013, my previous car -- strange, as I paid off a large amount of summons before I sold it -- however, it couldn't be paid and had the status: "surat saman dikeluarkan". I also found one from DBKL from 2017, status: "aduan mahkamah", but that one I could still pay. So I paid a large amount (RM250) and moved on.

Regardless, I know that once it's paid it's settled. So i went over to MBPJ this morning, couldn't pay at main building, sent over to the Menara MBPJ. Spoke to the counter lady, and she told me oh this one already mahkahmah. I told her that I had no idea it was pending since I paid off all my old car tickets in 2016, and this was in 2013, and for parking right outside my house by the side of the padang. So i showed her my IC address, she told me to fill in a rayuan form, and I'm to wait for 2 weeks for a "pegawai" to have a look.

My main question is: If for some reason, i actually have to go to traffic court to settle this issue, this isn't something that is a criminal case, right? I'll just have to pay the compound at the counter, instead of being an actual court case that will go on record right?

Honda city hybrid infotainment

For the City hybrid, does the head unit not support Android mirror link and Apple Air play? Pretty annoying... Gf waiting for her car and I can't seem to find much on the issue.

Also, the pre face-lift was 7" and had touch buttons, now the new one is 6.8" and no touch buttons? So it's a downgrade? Is it an Android headset or some Honda proprietary OS?

Myvi long press horn - not consistent

Recently noticed that when I long press my horn (myvi se 2016), the note tends to like.. Shake or whine or basically start sounding weird la. Went to SC and the foreman told me it's because I'm not pressing the contact tepat tepat. Then he told me the reason why it only seems to happen when the engine is on, is because the devices and car itself draws more current when the engine is on.

Which is strange because I've tried another myvi which doesn't seem to have the same issue.

Grab Car or Uber?

Sick and tired of red taxis on the road

They ask for understanding that this is their livelihood, that they are uneducated and blabla. Yet, they still go around harassing Uber drivers and being general disks on the road. Just experienced a cab behind me horning me for all it was worth just because I gave the car in front of me something like a 5m distance as we were all going pretty slow toward a red light. He proceeds to try manic maneuvers to overtake me, fails, and proceeds to drive over the grass just to overtake me and wave his hand at me.

Put aside whatever 'legal' issues that the taxi drivers union is claiming with SPAD, I couldn't care less.

Ps: I do recognise the presence of some honest, hardworking red cabbies out there. It's a shame that they are the minority.

Mazda CX-5 Bluetooth Waze issue

When connecting the iPhone 6 to the Bluetooth in the cx5, I seem to run into an issue. Most apps and phone calls work fine, but when using Waze, after one sentence, the sound then ceases to come out of the car speakers. Instead, the screen displays the message that cannot play something while acquiring data. Doesn't seem to be an issue with google maps.

Any ideas from Mazda users in general?

Hey all.

Picked up my myvi from the dealer about a week and a half ago, and there is this persistent rattling noise from the back that has been there from almost the beginning, but only during days where I've left the car in the sun. It seems to be from the back window esque area, but I can't pinpoint exactly where it is coming from.

Any other users with similar problems? Given that it's brand new, I'm finding it tough to live with.

dota 2 on macbook pro 13" 2015

I am thinking of getting the new macbook pro 13'', but i wanted to ask the regulars here a few questions first.

When i tried the game on someone's macbook pro 13' (but the 2014 edition), it seemed to work okay, but then plugging it into my 32" LG HDMI tv, there seemed to be a noticeable drop in framerate. I can't remember to what extent exactly, as i don't have the macbook with me here to try. I tweaked the settings alot and turned off the laptop display, leaving my tv as the only display, and this seemed to make the game okay for me again.

Therefore, i wanted to ask about the experience for those of you here with the new macbook pro? Or even the old one. I'm just curious, and i've done a bit of research online as to the performance and it has ranged from pretty decent, even with reasonably high settings, to reports of regular crashes.

Either way, I'm abit bothered given that the 2014 version of the MBP seemed to have abit of lag issues, and i wanted to ask for the experience of the gamers here.

PS4 New Firmware Rest Bug

Sorry if this is in the wrong subforum or whatever, just wanted to let other ps4 users out there know that with the latest ps4 update, the new "rest mode" (formerly known as "standby") has a bug whereby it doesn't wake up and the disc eject button makes a beep noise, but does not eject the disc. I updated, FIFA servers were down, put my ps4 in rest mode, turned it back on a few hours later, played for abit and rested it for the night.
This afternoon, had the bug.

This is the solution that i got online, seems to be a firmware wide bug ;

DualShock 4 Problems

My 1 week old dualshock 4 sonetimes creaks on the left handle, and just feels a little loose. The right trigger sqeuaks as well. It seems that its quite common right now, question is shpuld i send it into sony or... just accept it
