I'm interested to built an architecture model for some shooting and fun !
Feel free to drop any comments/ideas.
If you find some source/materials which can contribute, pls share.

Summary so far

Realistic Grass - attempt 1.0

1. Cut the fabric (green) to fit into your model.
Use plaster, papier-mâché or insulation board (like Styrofoam) to create
shapes for the hills you will cover with grass.
2. Get some real soil. Pour it through a fine mesh tea strainer.
Shake the strainer to distribute the soil on the fabric.
3. Use a wire bristle brush such as a pet brush to stroke on the fabric (to make the strands fluff up).
4. Ta da!!!

I just brought a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Not really satisfy as i can't lie down on the sofa and control everything.

I'm looking for a wireless mouse (perhaps mouse pad similar to laptop)
which is integrated to a keyboard. Is it available anywhere?

Plan to get corei7extreme
and graphic card with hdmi output.

Any recomendation on the mixture (motherboard, ram, etc bla bla bla)
exclude monitor, already bought a 32' LG LCD TV.

I went to a camera shop having in mind getting
Ixus 950 or Sony T-100
but end up, buying F40fd

anyone, got this camera?
Can share your thoughts about it?
Is it the right choice?
coz at the price of 900+, couldn't really resist it.
Only thing, a bit bulky compared to t-100 and ixus950

or maybe u wan share some pic?

Sony T-20 vs Canon Ixus 750i

A noob who is interested of buying his first digi-cam.
Have 2 models in mind :

1. Sony T-20
2. Canon Ixus 750i

my interest/concerns are
1. compact and light weight (can put inside t-shirt pocket)
2. Cheap of coz. My budget around RM1000-RM1500
3. Resolution around 8. Since Im not profesional, I think 8 will be good enough.
4. Battery lasting and wide LCD.
5. User friendly/ Easy to use.

Plan to get it within this month or next. Therefore would appreciate if you guys/girls can give any good advices.

Or, any better camera models/brand you would like to recomend>?
