Sager NP8662 from Mucro Asia

Hi,

Have been looking for a replacement for my outdated Athlon XP 3000+ Desktop.
Was initially thinking of getting a desktop again, (Core i7) but figured that I kinda like the mobility a laptop would afford me.

So.... I considered the Dell XPS 1530... then checked out the Alienware M15x....then.. I discovered the Sager NP8662!

Anyone have a SageR? I think I saw a thread somewhere where someone has an 8660...mostly bought from xoticpc.... however, I'm looking to get mine from Mucro Asia. Reseller in Singapore, which apparently they have a tie up with Vital Computers in Lowyat for warranty, servicing and support.

Would appreciate advice on how reliable Vital Computers is... and whether I should go ahead with my purchase...

Hi,

Not sure if this is what this forum is for, but I'm looking for a quotation for a new gaming rig which I'm looking to buy.
Was previously using an AMD AthlonXP 3000+ based desktop... but am now looking at options for a new PC to be used primarily for games and photo editing.

Am looking at the Core i7 based CPUs... budget between 3.5k - 5k...
