            <title>Which Is The Best Path?</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2261020</link>
<description>I have a friend who just bought the new Pioneer LX-55 receiver and BDP-LX55. It seem the BDP-LX55 have two hdmi out. The shop boss where my friend buy the Pioneer connect the bdp direct to plasma tv and another hdmi out(audio only) from the bdp to the avr. During one of the yumcha session with an audiophile sifu, I ask why it wasn&amp;#39;t connect to the avr first and then from the avr hdmi out to plasma tv. The sifu said the avr and bdp possess the same video processing technology, it is no different going to the avr first , then to the tv. I know during the days before hdmi was introduce, going separate for video and audio would produce a better results. I know hdmi do carry video and audio signal. Then why I said if it connect direct to plasma tv, It does carry video and audio to the tv. The sifu said the audio portion can be off from the bdp. I just want to know if there is a feature like that. Is there any different connect directly and from the avr?</description>
