During combat, up to twelve players split into teams of at most six each, one sided with Zeon and one with the Federation. In addition to fighting in your Mobile Suit, you'll also need to take to the ground as your pilot. As a pilot, you can make use of repair kit to fix Mobile Suits, and can also hitch a ride on a friend's Mobile Suit.

The game has all the options one might expect of an online title, including voice chat, text chat, and the ability to create custom match rooms and seek out other players. When searching for a room, you can search over such areas as: the map, player level cap, minimum number of participants, and ability to post comments.

At the end of battle, you'll receive customization parts. These can be used to build up your Mobile Suit. You can also customize your pilot with things like custom colored suits.

Gundam Battle Operation will be available as a free download in late June. Namco Bandai will hold a closed beta test from March 29 through March 31. Details on this will be announced shortly.

Famitsu reveals this week that the PS3 adaptation of Gundam UC will be released on March 8. The base version of the game carries surprisingly low pricing, at just ¥5,040 (higher profile PS3 releases will often cost ¥7,800 and up). The limited edition costs ¥7,980.

Mira Maxwell
A female who is a master of spirits controlling the four elements of earth, water, wind and fire. She is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro.

Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arlan 2 (PS3)

The game will be set five years after the original, and the first game's main character, Rorona, will also appear in this game as a mentor of the main character.

You play as Totori, full name Totoria Helmond (voice Kaori Nazuka). The 13 year-old lives with her father and older sister. She aims to be an adventurer so that she can find her missing mother.

Other characters introduced in Dengeki are Jino (voice Yuko Sanpei), a 14-year-old childhood friend of Totori, and Mimi (voice Yuka Iguchi), a 14-year-old high class girl who wears hot-pants.

Rorona, star of Atelier Rorona, also appears in the game. She's 22-years-old now and serves as instructor to Totori. In fact, Totori is Rorona's first pupil, and Rorona seems to adore the new main character.

Totori, Mimi, Jino, and Rorona appear to form a playable party. Screens show them fighting alongside one another.

Atelier Totori will have improved visuals over Rorona, and contain 1.25 times as much voice acting. The battle system will see an overhaul, and complaints that Rorona was too easy and simple were also taken into account.

The game will be released in Japan in June 24.

The Last Story (Wii)

The game takes place on Ruli Island (Lazulis Island in the English translation), governed by Count Arganan and located at the entrance of a harbor which serves as the only entrance to a mountainous continent. The player controls a group of mercenaries that have come from the desolate continent to the island seeking work. The production staff is trying to limit science fiction elements in the game.
