[WTB] Asus gt-501 Casing Airflow Modding Service

Asus gt-501 case... I love this case but I want it to have more holes for my fans to breath...

I put 7x 3000 rpm Noctua fans in it , to me the sound is like wind blowing on a good sunny day, it's music to my ears (while for most people even 2000RPM is ""jet taking off""...lol, sissies......)

My components must be happy to get a masochist owner like me..haha..

Ok2..jokes aside and back to the topic...

I need to buy a simple case modding service...

I need to cut the front part and put a honeycomb black drill infront.

I can just bring you the "front part" as it is detachable...Of course it needs to be near KL/selangor as I don't wanna post.

Anyone that has good skill to do this (as long as not bengkok should be fine la...just make it straight ) and have a reasonable price, Please contact me.

[WTA] Seri Petaling streamyx 4mb users

Hello all.

currently I am using streamyx BB 1Mb and I do have good gaming ping,however other family members need more download speed.

So,I might want to upgrade to 4mb but what makes me think twice is that I might get a different IP range that will messed up my latency.

For now I am getting 60.xx.xx.xx ip range(which i am happy with). I want to ask peoples who live in the area Seri Petaling and is using streamyx BB 4mb,what is ut ip range?

There is no need to suggest abt unifi etc,I don't plan to take that at the moment .

Hello guys.

I wana ask about the bandwidth control and QoS for this router. Plan to take unifi.

I have 2 users at my home, me wired(gaming) and my sister wireless(normal utube,normal browse etc).
So I want to limit my sister's download speed to lets say 100kbps/sec so I can get a good gaming ping (korean server).

I navigated thru this page,but cannot find the QoS thingy for this router, maybe this router doesn't have QoS,but I doubt it,I think its just that I do not know where it is.

Also,under bandwidth control,there is this "ADSL" and "Other" which I do not understand.

U guys know any way that I can do it with this router?
Or other router which isn't too complicated...budget around RM160.
(or any way that I can have a unaffected ping when we are both using the internet)

Maybe bro klseet or others can be of some insight,

Hello all.

I am planning to take unifi VIP5 and using the ASUS RT-N13U router (or anything suitable).

I plan to use this router because my sister will download some normal youtube videos(normal 320p) always(using wireless) and I will be playing online game(wired) most of the time, connecting to a korean server.

The problem is my ping will shoot up whenever she does this. Currently using streamyx BB.
Thus, If i take unifi, she will get like 200 kbps which she never actually utilize and i will suffer bad ping.

So my plan is to give her like maximum 70kbps speed and I take the rest (maybe 380kbps or whatever....the only impt thing to me here is the ping) since that is all she need.
But I am wondering if it is possible to do this "dividing the pie" thingy and will it have any effect?(effect means I get almost the same ping as using it alone, and she can download things at an acceptable speed)

Which have many sooo things such as, Under "wireless" there is this "Data Rate" "Multicast Rate" etc. And then they have Ezqos etc etc.
If you guys know of any other brand/router which can do this please reco me as well.

So I want to ask it is possible to do it with this router (or others)?, and if so,how ya?cause I don't 100% understand what the "Data rate" "WAN" and many other things there meant.

Hello everyone.

Thank you for spending some time to read my questions.

I will go to either Sunway U or taylor's subang doing my pre-u.(most prob sunway)

But as i look into newspapers and google etc,it doesn't help me much in searching for an accommodation cause i would only prefer Apartments/condos rather than houses.

-My budget is around RM 500-650.

-Prefer to walk to colg everyday.(so if possible provide the walking distance in minutes)

-Looking for living alone in a room with private bathroom.

SO u guys that know this areas,i would be happy if u guys can provide me some names on the apartments/condos.

I would also appreciate infos such as the major ethic of the residences in the apartments such as chinese,malay or more foreigner or workers etc.

I thank you a lot guys.

P/S :another reason i don't have much time to research/google it is because i am still kinda very busy researching which pre-u and U to go.

So guys...i was thinking of selling this mobo(9 months age) and get gigabyte udp3..but the problem is now i just cant decide.

u see,i wana OC quad to 4ghz...but this mobo cant do it.....those who know alot abt the UDP 3 might wana share the pros cons?

2 things make me dun wana sell this is the copper cooler...almost all the chipsets cooler use copper.. and 1 more its ROG.

Plase....need advise...maybe Lex have somthin to say?from what i see,he knows a lot

Hello all..

I have been having this mission to make a good PC with all good hardwares that matches their performance with price.Si did,i made the rig...u can check my sig for specs...Well...what seems to be bothering me is...my pc seems to be kinda "slow" ...the boot up..the time to launch games..and other things as well...its hard to list all...its kinda wide...i hope u understand..and my optical (asus 20x dvd lightscribe,saata) seems to be detecting disks in a very long time(like 18 sec),i dunno if this is normal(maybe cause its sata?) cause i remember my old PC (p4 2.4 ghz...256mb ram etc) can detect disk like after 7 secs i put them in...and programs always not responding etc....(means it got hang)...

when i overclock my e8400 to 3.8 (which is not much i think...),the pc is ok...just one thing,it seems to boot up the first time(after every ac power switched off) 2 times...meaning it will like ...hmm....turn on for 1 sec,turn off again..then only turn on...anyone have ne idea?( i did not Overclock on the problems listed...that was on all default settings,so its not OC issue or because OC)

Also when i play World Of Warcraft (with all high setting and 1680x1050 res)...its ok but sometimes it will have low FPS like 25 and become really choppy for like 2 sec...then its ok again...well,i think this should't happen since WoW is an old game and my hardware is good...again,is this normal?..sigh..

My gigabyte PSU also only ahve 23 pins...one of the pin is "missing" but i guess this is normal..or is it?

I am suspecting my HDD....cause it make some "CHIK CHIK" sound every time my pc experiance the "slow" thing...

I am kinda sad with this...cause i am like having all good hardwares and i am gettin this...please help..Thanks
