Dead GPU without any preceding symptoms ?

My MSI GTX 670 was running fine without any failure symptoms BSOD/Black screens/Artifacts/etc. I was even playing games on that day itself.
Until suddenly the screen goes black while loading (League of legends), and that's it. There's still audio, but the computer basically froze and I had to restart.

Booting the PC was fine, but i couldn't get into the win 10 login screen. The screen goes black and PC was unresponsive. Have to use my on-board GPU right now.

Temperatures are always at its normal range ~50-60oC while gaming, no spikes are noted. Physically the card isn't burnt. Fans were still running.
NVIDIA could still detect the GPU when i tried installing the drivers. However, installation of the driver would cause the display to go black, froze and then crashed.
Only manage to install the driver while using my onboard GPU.

Right now, opening programs like GPU-Z would eventually freezes my PC when the GPU is connected.

Warrantly ended last November....

The only changes I did recently was my PSU, switched to Seasonic M12II-620 EVO 620W the Friday before CNY.

The PSU is from my younger brother's NEW rig (Just bought on January 2016), he experienced auto-shutdowns so i decided to switched my PSU with his.
I also full disassemble and reassemble his RIG and there's no problem so far.
As for using his PSU, I did not experience any auto-shutdowns or problems.

I'm wondering if the PSU is the cause of the failure ?
Is it typical for GPU to fail without warning signs ?

I'm concerned that should I get a new GPU, and if the PSU is faulty, I would end up damaging the card.
Any chances the PSU is faulty ? How do I decide whether to RMA or not ?

Sony Vaio C series problem

Having problems with Sony VAIO C VPCCA15FG mainly due to the GPU.

AMD Radeon™ HD 6630M / Intel® HD Graphics 3000
Switchable graphics ;
Although in games , I'm able to switch and utilize the AMD Radeon™ HD 6630M and everything goes on smoothy but it seems that when it heats up to 60C (monitored using GPU-Z)
The GPU starts shutting down as in ( GPU utilization 100% drops to 0% gradually ) which causes game fps to drop and performance drop as well.

This happen just 5 mins the game started , and there's no way or solution that I can find online.

Do need some help here.

Additional information:
Dxdiag does not detect AMD Radeon™ HD 6630M
I'm not able to install the mobility CCC I downloaded ; says adapter not found or not supported i think.

Medicine as second degree.

Guys , my idle temps for 560Ti Twin Fzr II is around 37-39 , is this considered normal ? non-aircond room.
However , a burn-in test. The temperature will rise until 90 at 5 minutes.
Is this ever normal ? .....would need some insights regarding this problem.

Graphic card recommendation

I'm looking for a single graphic card which could support 1080p gaming ; preferably at it's best settings.

1. I've read about HD5870 , GTX560. Which is better ?
2. Are there other better models as well ?

My PSU currently is Silverstone ST50F 500W PSU, and Mobo MSI MS7599 870-G45.

My budget is around 1k , around there ; be it buying 2nd hand or 1st hand

3.Which is better ? Nvidia , or AMD ?
4.Does my mobo supports Nvidia ? cause it's an AMD mobo.

5.If a model is selected , which brand should I get ?

Samsung LCD/LED monitors

I'm seeing
21.5" Samsung BX2231 (LED) RM 587

23" Samsung -2333TN RM498

and

23" LG -W2343T RM562

All are Full HD , and prices are the ones in PCdepot in my area.
Any critics or better recommendations at equivalent prices ?
Is 21.5" small ?
Is LED better than just normal Full HD ?
How's Samsung's LCD ?

I've checked reviews through google , but it seems that doesn't provide much information.
Hopefully if anyone have any of these LCD/LED monitors would give me their comments ?
