video Capture Issue

Digital Handycam: DCR-TRV355E Pal Digital 8
Software: Ulead Media Studio Pro - Video Capture 7
Display Adapter: Nvidia Geforce 6150 (ASUS M2NPV VM-built in) newly bought on last Saturday. The display screen for the whole OS is flickering too.
Transfering method: Using the IEEE

Hi, the quality of the video output is not good upon completion of the data transfering from the handycam to the PC. Color is not sharp, video resolution is not clear, the video screen size also reduce. However, i can see watch DVD very clear using this PC.

FYI, When i connect my handycam to the TV. The quality is great. Kindly let me know what shall I do to have a similar good quality output as I can see on my TV. Thanks in advance.

I can't find the driver for this unknown device from the Motherboard CD, Windows XP CD or the drivers in the Harddisk drivers.
Can someone kindly tell me what I need to install for this unknown device?
Besides that, my screen is shacky. I dunno what's wrong.

failed to open. .vob file

Hi,

I have downloaded the .vob file send by colleague. However, I can't seem to play it. When I try to open it using Real Payer. It keep telling me that I must change my resolution from 1024x768 to 800x600. Therefore, I change the resolution. But, I still unable to run the .vob file. I also try to use the WIndows Media player, but the error seem to be the same. pls help.

So, I use another computer to open the .vob file. This time, I downloaded the real player from the real.com. But, when I try to open the file. the real player said it is going to install the mpg-2. During the installation, it suddenly stop encounter somekind of error saying unable to contact the server. So, I try again. But, It keep saying fail to install the mpg-2 and unable to contact the server. I really do not understand, can you guy help me on this? Thanks.
