Change GPU fan or buy new GPU?

Hi guys. Just wanna ask your opinion about changing gpu fan to an AIO or to change to a new GPU.

Here is a short brief about my gpu:
Asus GTX 970 Strix, bought in Dec 2015. One fan was running very rough with squeeking sound early this year, and I have oiled it, but it is now loose from the bracket a bit but still spinning. The fan some times doesn't spin if it is loose until I press it back in, and even after I press it back in, after a while it will come loose again.

Currently, for gameplay, I am able to get close to 60fps if I set things at low (1080) on Anthem, at the start of the game, but I do experience a drop in framerates after about 40 minutes or so (maybe because of the fan coming loose a bit). I check the temperature on my GPU tweak, the temperature jumps to 85+ degrees, and will drop to around 75-85 range when my fan kicks in more power, but I still have to make sure the fan is spinning.

Some history:
I have gotten blue screen and artifact before with the card when I was playing Rise of the Tomb Raider (back in 2018), but I fixed by cleaning the fans & heat sink, and applying a new thermal paste. After that, I haven't experience any problem.

I was thinking about changing the stock fan to a NZXT G12 bracket and a X42 AIO cooler, since that is one of the available bracket and cooler that are available and compatible, and also for my thinking in the future, I can use the X42 on my CPU if I change my GPU in the future.

I hope I can get an experienced recommendation here, which would be better? Change to an aftermarket cooler for the old gpu or outright get a new/second hand gpu?
