Spray Paint on metal door frame

Hi guys, I have these metal door frames that I want to paint it black. Is it ok to use spray paint (canisters) instead of normal steel paint (using brush)?

I wanted to paint it matte black, hence thinking of using spray can (as I don't have those compressor machine)

The existing paint is new (with minor scratches here & there), and do I need to sand it before painting?

the frame is similar like this (original beige color, intend to paint matte black)

Need sifus advices

“Let go” employees issue

Hi all I need help and advice here.

1. So my workplace is “letting ppl go”, notice/letter given did not state “termination/firing/resignation/retrenchment”, only says the company having financial difficulty then straight to how many days notice, prorate leaves etc. Is this even legal?

2. The company did not give us choice to serve the notice in full (coming to office like usual until last notice day) HR automatically applied our remaining leaves on the notice period. E.g. 30 days notice, uses my remaining 10 days of paid leaves so instead after 20 days of notice I’m considered on leave until last day.

3. HR say we are not entitled to ask for the leaves to be paid in cash, that we have to utilised all leaves or otherwise all leaves are considered null/voided. Is this legal?

thanks all in advance

[WTA] Hit & Run case

Hi all, need advices here.

My gf car (parked at housing area's lorong) got hit & run.

So we made police report with witness (gave wrong number plate la, he blur). Later Sarjan called said it's wrong plate number so cannot do anything on that side.

Just now, the witness informed us that he saw the driver (who hit & run) nearby the area.

What can & should I do in this situation?

Thanks in advance to all sifus here.

- Extra info -

1) The guy did not make any police report / or might have made a false report (to claim insurance)?

2) During accident the driver is with his friends (around 3-4 ppl) came down from the car to inspect damage. (hence the witness recognised him/them)

p.s. not sure if I'm in the correct section, if not admin can help move to correct section? Thanks admin.
