No sound Windows 7

Hi guys,

This happened first when I installed DMC4 and right after that no sound already. Then i removed the audio driver and Realtek HD audio manager. Then it works again. Then today when i turn on my com no sound again. I tried driver sweeper to clear the audio driver as well then got it reinstalled back. Its still the same. I tried plugging in the speaker to my phone, and it plays clearly. Guys please help.

This is actually from my friend's company. When she tendered her resignation letter, she got this letter for acceptance of resignation from HR.
Extracted from the letter of acceptance of resignation. The below are called policy of Non-Competition and Confidential and Proprietary Information.

a. All resigned or terminated staff are prohibited seek employment business within a ten (10) kilometers radius of the Company and Branches for the period of one (1) year from the date if such termination. If you violate this condition, you will be required on demand to pay compensation of RM100,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia : One Hundred Thousand Only).

b. All resigned or terminated staff also prohibited operate own business within ten (10) kilometers radius of the Company and Branches for the period of one (1) year from the date of such termination. If you violate this condition, you will be required on demand to pay compensation for the amount of triple of the Company’s turnover. Example : if our turnover for the current month if RM100,000.00 (Malaysia Ringgit : One Hundred thousand only), you have to triple the amount of RM300.000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia : Three Hundred Thousand Only) deemed reasonable by the Company.

The Company hereby reserves all rights of action to commence legal proceeding against the staff for breach of this clause.

My doubts are :
1) Is it legal for the company to place such restriction on the resigned staff?
2) What if she don't sign the letter? Will it mean that my friend didn't accept the terms set by the company, therefore her resignation is void?

I feel that it is really inappropriate for this company to place such conditions on resigned staff. FYI, this company have 20+ branches in KL. I did actually use Google Map to check how big is the restricted area. My god it was so damn huge! Can my friend actually do something with it?

I noticed that other GTX 570's is around 200 more expensive. No problem on that but which brand is better? or perhaps another GC?

Less than RM4k pc system suggestion

Hello all the sifus.

I wanted to get a full pc system which is under the budget of RM4k. Mainly using this system for gaming. Im quite a noob on computer parts so dont intend to overclock it.

Need some guidance here. I already have some preferences on few parts of the computer but dont know if its compatible or not.

Processor - i7 2600k (waiting for the release of AMD's Bulldozer to compare.anyone can comment on this?)

Motherboard - Any suggestion?

Ram - is 4gb sufficient or 4x2 is better? And what is the difference between Corsair pc 1333 and 1333 gaming?was thinking to get that

GC - Any suggestion?

Hardisk - SSD of 60b for os and + 1TB or 1TB + 1TB raid 0?
feels like getting the SSD is rather pointless as 60 gb is the one that i could afford and the os already taken up around 10gb?a few more games and its full. How to do raid 0? can i ask the computer shop to do it?

DVD drive

Power supply - Any suggestion?

Casing - Will any casing do? or it will affect the performance? I dont really need those fancy fancy casings

Monitor - Is U2311H from Dell ok? or Samsung BX2350H led? or any other suggestions?

Finally, was thinking to get it from Viewnet. Any comment on this shop?
