Recently I just found out about this phone and was kinda attracted to it.

I've got some questions that I wanna ask you guys out here.

What are the things or specs that I should look out for a smart phone?

Is there anyway to get it at cheaper price? Perhaps some phone service provider is providing plans for this phone or sth else?

I'm not really good at phones, please enlighten me with whatever knowledge I need to acquire.

Questions on Garage Sales

Actually I don't know whether it is right for me to post this question here, but since I'm here, please take a look.

I'm gonna try to sell something in the Garage Sales section and I have gone through those threads regarding the rules or important notes that I should know. But I found out that I didn't know who I should ask for details when I wanna ask a few questions. So I'm posting here, all helps appreciated.

Modem/Router: HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS: GlobeTrotter EXPRESS 7.2

Problem details
First occurence of problem: About 1-2 weeks before today
Problem frequency: Occassionally
Problem description: Pacekts sent are normal but packets recieved stopped. It occured when I'm surfing or gaming. I took a look at my network
status and found out the problem. When I repaired it, 2 kinds of results would happened.

1st: It showed that it was repaired, but the packets stopped at 3. So the problem was not solved.

2nd: Which was recently, it was repaired, and I could surf and gaming, but after mabe like a 40 minutes, the problem occurs again, so I need to
repair it again.

Celcom 3G device

Erm, I''ve been using this device for at least 1 month, but start from recent few days, my connection have some problem.
I can connect it to the celcom but I can't sign in MSN messenger and I can't browse internet.
I check the status of my connection and found out that the packets sent are normal but the packets received are abnormal, which didn't received at all. It stucked at 3 or something that is really small.
Any idea how to solve it other than calling the person who sold me this device?
Sometimes it can be used for example now I'm using it, but the problem may occur after half an-hour or may not occur at all.

Can't sign in Lowyat with IE but Firefox

I got a question, just found out abt it coz i've not been signing in in lowyat for a time.
I tried to sign in with IE but after i typed my username and password and pressed log in, the screen changed to the main page but my status is still a guest. But in firefox i'm able to log in as i'm using firefox to ask this question now.
Is it any settings i've accidentally changed?

I'm using SP2 now , and i've heard quite some problem about SP3 is it true?
Coz my laptops' dling new updates which is SP3, nid some advice about it.

CPU'S usage 100%

Hi guys, i nid to ask a few question.
My fren's laptop's facing some problems, when he start his laptop, the whole screen hangs, but i can still see the movement of the mouse but i just can't click anything and can't do anything.
I just know that his laptop's CPU usage runs up to 100% oftenly.
So i just turn off the com and run a safe mode and found out that he's using 4 anti-virus/spyware, and i've uninstall 3 of them leaving only AVG 8.0.
Now his laptop doesn't hang anymore, i don't know if it's becoz of the uninstallation of thoese anti-virus.
But his CPU usage still runs up to 100% ocassionally, but i'll drop down to 4-16%, is it normal?
And i'd like to ask what's the normal usage for IE?
Here's his spec:
Dell
Inspiron I1420
Intel Core 2 DuoCPU T5450@1.66GHz
2038MB of RAM
32-bit operating system

Pendrive Autorun Problem

Hey, i got a problem i nid to ask about...
When i plugged in my pendrive, it'll automatically open it, and i've been trying to disable it but i failed to.
I've gone to it's properties and choose every type of folder to take no action when it is plugged in, and i've try to show hidden files and nth's there and i've scanned my pc with anti-virus and anti-spyware both AVG series, but nth's done.
So any idea abt it?
Is it virus or my ignorance abt com?
Is it AVG or sth else?

I'm trying to do a research for my presentation about storage devices,so i'd like to ask for some help about it.
Can u guys list the storage devices pls?Coz i only know a few about it, e.g. HDD,Thumbdrive,DVD,Memory Card and so on.And i'd like to ask for infomation about "internet storage", i don't know whether i've named it wrongly or not, but i'd like to know more about it as i've been assined for this in my group.

Problem About Volume Displayer

Hi guys,first of all, i want to apologize if i'm asking a stupid question...i'm still learning more about computers and so on...
Here goes...it'll sound quite stupid...
I'm using Compaq Presario V3000,when i just bought it,everytime when i start it, the volume of the windows starting sound is very loud, and it'll remain the same even if i've lowered my volume before i shut it down.But i've solved this by uninstall and reinstalling my Conexant HD Audio.

Now's the problem i'm facing now,when i turn down the volume, it'll show the volume(i'm sorry, but i really don't know what is the exact name of that),some kind of volume displayer,just a small rectangle with green indicator showing it's volume, something like what happen when u turn down the volume of a tv,and my fren using the same model has no problem about this at all...Any idea about this?
