A Dispute of Pricing Error

Recently my friend was looking for a watch and bought a brand new watch from a well known retail chain in Kuala Lumpur. The brand is not a popular one and the price was 199.00. The problem occurred is that after the purchase and after my friend was wearing it, the watch shop called and informed my friend that the watch is actually worth RM 1999.00 instead of RM 199.00 as listed in the display and system. It was a technical error by the company itself. Does the company has any right over my friend for asking for top up or return of the watch?

BIg Big Domain Transfer Issue

I've got a domain name that is hosted by an international host and the web company that built and hosted the website it has closed shop. They have used their company as the owners of the domain therefore I don't have access to it as I cannot locate anyone from the company. Is there a way to go around this? Help!

I am Calvin and I am the owner of Surviving-Hairloss.com website. At the present moment, I am in need of a web designer to do a minor update to my website’s overall Look and Feel. The modifications are strictly limited to the outlook with no changes to the site’s structure. What I am looking at is an overall site modernization via the original CSS files and graphical elements only.

Some of the work I intend to do are

- Upgrade of the Header
- A new and more refreshing background
- Contrast between the center table with the sidebars
- New customized line break graphic
- New containers design
- Headline graphic effect and font upgrades

I do not have a large budget (>= RM1000) at the moment for the minor upgrade but I will pay a fair amount for the work done. If you have the time and interested in this project, please do reply or email me and let me know about your idea and proposal.

XPS 1530 LCD Cracked..

At mentioned above..I have no idea why it cracked but it just happened out of a sudden. I usually take good care of my laptop and i don't knock it around. To replace it, they want to charge me RM900 for it and it's freaking expensive. Anyone knows where to get a cheaper alternative to replace the LCD?

Hi, I am about to find a new way to sell products online..do you think that Amazon's astore is a good choice for setting up an online store? I was thinking of using the store to sell and promote certain hair loss products online. It is easy as it won't require me to pay for merchant fees and such. Just putting up the products and sell. Anyone has any experience with astore and does it bring in good income for you?

Hello all Lowyatters!! I have been writing content for long enough as well as SEOing my website. I think right now i have the UUMMMPPHH!! to actually start making some money from all my traffic. I was wondering whether anyone got experience with Amazon Associates? I was thinking of selling my products through and earn some commissions. They have a free Astore which i can implenment through my site and i thought i will save me all the trouble and publicity from doing it myself.

I have considered a lot of options like clickbank as well as other potential affiliates but they don't seem to carry the range of products that I want to sell. It seems that Amazon Affiliates is the only program that i can find all the product and customize it the way i want through the astore. Would appreciate any ideas, feedbacks and opinions...

As i try to help and support the best way that I can, there are limitations in mails I can reply. I guess there are really a lot of people that are quite worried about their hair loss. Therefore, i've decided to create a support group in Facebook and I am inviting all Malaysians especially Lowyatters to come in an join our group.

You can discuss about your hair loss condition, post hair loss related articles as well as sharing your hair loss conditions with us. There is no need to be shy, as nobody wants to lose hair. I have been using adsense for my ads for almost 4 month liao but I don't even get a single cent payment. How does it work actually? They keep on displaying relevant ads to my site but they don't pay me at all. I have alexa rank of 899k and improving with uniques of around 200 per day...yet I don't see any income..can someone please explain?
