Been trying to run this shit for almost 2 weeks already.

Installed on Nothing 1 phone like any other app. However, it kept complaining of Developer Mode enabled. Yes, I did enabled it for troubleshooting previously. I disabled it and now it kept complaining of Mock Location set to None. WTF!?!?

Mock Location is not even set in the first place! Piece of coded rubbish. Dunno which sampah programmer they used to code this shit.

So, I installed this app to my Lenovo M4 Tablet and it ran until the registration page. After several times clearing the cache and data, it finally able to run properly.

Dunno why companies kept launching new apps when old ones ran fine and stable for years.

I guess this app was probably coded for iOS and ported over with bugs! What kind of shitty companies allowed flawed apps to go live? Bad practice and may open opportunities for potential lawsuits from customers later.

Left several comments at the feedback site but no reply.

Haih, better stop paying the water bills all together.

Anyone having their parcels stucked due to non-delivery by Best Express?

Mine 2 parcels stucked since 28/12 and always Deliver Unsuccessful despite being at home for WFH. No calls or WhatsApp from the courier.

For 1st parcel, I complained to Shopee CS. The promised to deliver within a specific date. The date came and went with Delivery Unsuccessful. So, I complained again and this time about another date. As usual, another Delivery Unsuccessful case. This went on for days until I had enough and proceeded with the refund and left a nasty comment yesterday.

Today, the parcel finally showed up intact. No exterior damages too.

Upon checking and satisfied the item is correct and no damage, I cancelled the refund request and gave the seller an excellent review except for the delivery part.

As for the 2nd parcel, I even called up the Best Express company to inquire and got no useful answers. Eventually, the parcel showed up.

New tactic, if the parcel kept showing Delivery Unsuccessful, just click on refund and let Shopee chase the fucking courier company by themselves. No need to argue or chat with the stupid Live Agent zombies.

Who the F is Best Express? Certainly not the best on the planet. Home address suddenly declared as Office/Not Open or Delivery Unsuccessful more than 6 times.

Worse than J&T.

No more Shopee for me. Will use Lazada from now on. Really Shitpee la.

PETALING JAYA: About 80,000 new car orders would be affected if the government does not extend an exemption on sales and service tax (SST), says the head of a motor finance association.

The exemption, granted during the Covid-19 lockdown period, ends on June 30.

About 80,000 cars are on order and awaiting delivery, according to Tony Khor, president of the Federation of Motor and Credit Companies Association of Malaysia.

“Many car buyers have yet to receive their orders, some have waited up to five months. If the cars are not handed over by the end of June, then about 80,000 of these car orders would be subject to the tax,” he said.

A full waiver of the tax is granted to locally-assembled cars and a 50% waiver on imported cars until June 30.

Some customers could cancel their orders if the new car price exceeds their budget and the loss of sales would affect the motor industry’s recovery, he told China Press.

The second-hand car market would also suffer a knock-on effect with fewer old cars being traded-in for new orders. He said more than 67% of those buying new cars tend to trade in their old ones.

Khor said the federation and other motor industry groups have called for SST exemption to be extended for a further six months."

Stupid fucking PayPal.

My account got hacked and some idiot made off with RM 386.

The PayPal account was tied to BigPay card. Luckily only put RM 400 inside previously.

Already made disputed at PayPal and BigPay.

Had to wait about 2 weeks for the outcome.

Lesson learned. Never tried any card to any online payment services. Nothing is secure in this world.

Last week my GoPayz also kena. Luckily only RM 8 for some online shopping app. Already disputed and frozen the card.

Now waiting for their answer for this dispute. Easily 2 weeks plus.

During the MCO, I decided to spring clean both my former office and house and found several retro / vintage computer hardware in the store room or storage boxes.

1. Quantum Fireball LCT 20GB - salvaged this from the old office computer many years ago and misplaced it during the move. Finally found it back. I ordered a USB 3.0 to IDE PATA adapter to test. It's still alive and I copied some huge JAVs to it. No problems.

2. Iomega ZIP100 ATAPI - salvaged this from my old OC'ed Celeron 300 PC years ago. For some reason, it was working under Windows XP but not Windows 7, 10 or MacOS. Hhmm...

3. Quantum Bigfoot TS 6.4GB - ALIVE! Still has Windows 98SE inside. Dunno why I retired this PC in the first place?

More hardware to extract or salvage after I clean up the room. Stay tuned.

All these retro / vintage hardware will have a place in my display cabinet soon. I don't like to throw them out especially if still working.

New Home Office

I recently moved to a new place.

For the last 2 weeks been moving all my stuff from the old home office to new place. I used mostly IKEA racks since Day 1 so these racks are almost 15 years old. Still very good condition though.

The layout is an L shaped book racks to house my magazines and laptops.

Rack 1-2 will have my NAS later and old HP Mini 311 netbook for management.

Racks 3-4 will have my cable collections and retro gaming station. Right now, I'm using an old IBM ThinkPad X60s for retro gaming. Sound will come from a JBL Pulse 2 speaker and General MIDI by Roland CM-300.

Rack 5-6 will house my work laptops mainly the Lenovo ThinkPad X220 and Dell Latitude E7440.

Rack 7 will be mostly for paperwork. At the moment, I left my old 17 and 23 inch monitors there first.

Still a lot of organising of cables to do. Will be testing the power socket load once fully moved in. Might also invest in a UPS for the NAS and work laptops.
