PC auto off/auto restart

Hi,

I have a system runs on Intel i7 8600 with Asrock B365 Phantom Gaming 4 board. The problem is lately my PC will sudden auto off or sometimes auto restart when I off my air condition after a few minutes. I already replaced my CPU thermal paste. I am using air cooler heatsink btw. Does anyone know what is the problem? To make it more complicated, when the PC is auto off, I have to turn off the PSU switch on the back and wait for a couple minutes then I can turn back on my PC. Is it, board problem or PSU problem? My PSU is using Silverstone 600w. At first I suspected my GPU which is Asus 1070 but when I take out my GPU and using onboard GPU, it is still happening. So definitely not my GPU problem. Please help me thanks

Question about UPS battery

Hi,

I bought a used UPS recently, but the last owner said he have not use the UPS for a long time probably a couple of month due to covid-19. My problem is I tried to boot up the UPS but it cant boot because I suspect the battery is not recharge. The question is, can I take out the battery from the UPS and have it charge somewhere? If can, who and where can I get the service?

Lenovo Y50 hinge broken

Hi guys

I am one of the owner of lenovo y50. The thing about this laptop is it got cheap material especially on the monitor lid case and the hinge. Ive already googled about this problem and turns out that many people faced this problem before.

So the question is i need to have suggestion on what to use for repair, what kind of adhesive should i use since i cant put screws on the hinge because the plastic connected to the lid is completely broken and only left 2 screw holes which doeamt hold very well.

In the picture u can see that i already used a resin and hardener compounds but it didnt hold very much. Need other option here. And i am definitely not gonna purchase lenovo gaming product again if they atill use cheap plastic material.

Create more than 5 partitions

Hi guys, I have a problem here. Currently, I have 4 partitions including 2 recoveries partitions and a system reserved partition and windows partition. But I want to make another partition from windows partition, which I will shrink the size from it and create a new partition from unallocated partition. The problem is I cant make it more than 4 because basic disk only limit to 4 primary partitions.

Question is, can I delete the recovery partition (11.72GB), which it will become unallocated partition after that I create another logical partition from windows partition. After that I re-created the recovery partition and make it as oem hidden partition again? Which mean I have 4 primary partition and 1 logical partition at the end, is it possible?

Hi, is it possible to connect to YES 4G using other type of brand wimax dongle? Let say I wanna use YOTA LU150 wimax dongle.

The problem is I wanna connect my YES 4G dongle into mikrotik router, and the router doesnt detect the port for the dongle. Except the YOTA is supported on mikrotik.

[HELP] Configure MikroTik router

Recently I have bought a MikroTik RB751G-2HnD router. The purpose is I wanna make hotspot with my Maxis Corporate plan thru 3G modem connection to the router.

The problem is I can't access to the internet after setting up on mikrotik using Winbox.

My setting is:

> Add PPP Client
>> setting APN as maxisbb
>>> setting username, password and dial as maxis, wap and *99#
>>>> Apply and enable, succesfully connected. (got message dns changed on Log)

Then I tried to access internet by opening a browser, I got page loading error. The status on my network taskbar also showed Unidentified Network No Internet Access.

So how? Do I need to bridge the PPP to the internet? If yes, I need a tutorial on how to do that coz I'm completely newbie to this type of 'awesome' router.

I need help for installing and configuring Coova-Chilli Captive portal on my Centos 5. I already installed freeradius, mysql and configured both. But i have problem to installing coova-chilli. If can, I need a very details of command to use, include on how to restart service also. Already try n error about 3 times, and reinstall my OS 3 times, still cant continue. especially when entering ./configure on directory coova-chilli after doing wget and tar command.

550 PSU enough for HD5850?

I have a Gigabyte HD5850 and CM real power pro 550watt PSU. Will my GC boot up when I use my PSU with the GPU? My spec is below:

Intel C2Q Q6600
Gigabyte EP45-UD3R
Kingston Value 1GB 800Mhz
Gigabyte HD5850 1GB
WD 1TB Green

just that, but the problem is when I tried to boot up the PC, nothing show on my monitor. When I changed to other GC like HD4870 it run perfectly, so what is the problem actually?

Details of the complaint :

- I want to buy the mobo for my friend.
- So, I banked in to him on that transaction date at that time.
- After that I ask him to do postage to my friend's address.
- He said that the mobo still at the distri, awaiting for rma return.
- I said OK, he need 3 days to take the mobo from the distri.
- So, I waited for 3 days, and when I asked him again, he said he already told the distri to post out the mobo themself (dia suruh distri tolong poskan).
- After that, I waited for a week. Then I asked him again, he said that he gonna check the status again at the distri, so he need 3 days more.
- 3 days later, he said that he in a vacation for a week?
- After 1 week, I asked him again, and he said he already went to the distri. He said that the distri still not pos out the mobo, it still at rma service.
- So I waited a week again, then he said he want to make a full refund to my account, so I give him my bank account number
- I still waiting and waiting, yet until now there is no news from him. I still not receive the mobo or the full refund.
- When I try to call him, there is no one answering, maybe his phone is off, I'm not sure
- Now my friend still asking for the mobo or full refund, how can I tell him? If refund, I need to use my money lor..

To daweedman, I need my money back or the mobo itself.

I already make a dispute thread for him last month, after an hour, he sms me that he got problem to get the status for the mobo. So I deleted the thread. I'm still trust in him, because he is a good seller. Now I cant do nothing, because he already keep quiet for a month. No sms reply, no call answer. not at all.

Hi all,

I got problem here, thus I'm stuck when to buy a new pair of ram. Currently I don't know which is the best and the important things that a RAM must have. Should I buy the low CL or should I buy the High speed?

Example:

2 x 2gb Kingston HyperX 800Mhz CL4 (4-4-4-12)

or

2 x 2gb Kingston HyperX 1066Mhz CL5 (5-5-5-15)

So, I need recommendation here, hope all genius forumer can give suggestion and recommendation. Thanks.

Oh ya, forgot one thing, I want to use the ram especially for gaming.
