On a fishing trip with his friends at a canal near his home in US, a 10-year-old boy caught a 1.8m alligator.

Not knowing the big reptile could easily eat him up alive, Michael Dasher dragged the alligator home.

His grandfather was shocked to see the alligator in the front yard.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers were called to the Rockledge home last Wednesday.

Michael told the officers he had been fishing with friends when something big caught the hook and snapped the line.

He said the alligator ran at him, so he started hitting it with sticks and jumped on its back.

The boy then dragged the alligator home and suffered only minor scratches on his hands and arms.

Wildlife officers said they would release the alligator back into the St. John's River.

PB Step Up Rates Campaign - 4.38%pa (minimum RM10k, 10 months). No risk, Sure gain? If we complete the 10 months, Is there any catch? I am thinking to withdraw all my other FD (2.80% pa) before it's maturity to put into this. Any comments?

High Fever - Febrile seizure

My son (16months) got fever yesterday morning and we gave him paracetamol (seems like his usual fever). And just 2 hours ago, when my wife feed him medication at about 1am, he was till ok. My wife then went down to clean up, and I can hear my son still talking to himself and then he climbed down bed himself. Walked around like normal.

Suddenly he came to me and collapse in front of me and started to shiver. I thought he was playing with me. But then I noticed something was wrong. He was stiff and shivering all over. His eyes were looking up. Not responding to call.

I went into shock. My wife too. Mother in law came and helped us. We tried to wake him up. The shivering and stiffness lasted about less than 5 minutes, but he is still very weak and not responding to us.

We quickly pack and headed to hospital. The Medical Officer said most likely my baby is getting Fever Fit, but our baby has to admit to be monitored. The pediatric will come and see our baby in the morning.

When our baby first got into food, my mother in law used this recipe to cook.

Pork Meat (no fats) - just for the taste
Brokoli/Spinach
Pumpkin/Carrot/Potato

She will mix the components and sometimes used all of it as 1 combo...

When baby is still small, she will grind all of it (except the meat)... Easier for baby to swallow.

Our baby likes it a lot... His daddy also likes to lick the leftover..

For dessert, Fruits such as Apple, Orange, Banana, Grapes, Kiwi

My wife took Obimin Pluz all the way for our first baby, and she is taking it now for our 2nd baby... Not a good news to hear

What is amniocentesis?

Amniocentesis is a prenatal test that allows your healthcare practitioner to gather information about your baby's health from a sample of your amniotic fluid. This is the fluid that surrounds your baby in the uterus.

The most common reason to have an "amnio" is to determine whether a baby has certain genetic disorders or a chromosomal abnormality, such as Down syndrome. Amniocentesis (or another procedure, called chorionic villus sampling (CVS) can diagnose these problems in the womb.

Amniocentesis is usually done when a woman is between 15 and 20 weeks pregnant. Though all women should be offered the option of having an amnio, women who choose to have this test are primarily those at increased risk for genetic and chromosomal problems, in part because the test is invasive and carries a small risk of miscarriage.

Here are a few other reasons that amniocentesis may be done:

* To assess the maturity of your baby's lungs when considering an early delivery for medical reasons (unless it's clear the baby needs to be delivered immediately regardless of lung maturity
* To diagnose or rule out a uterine infection
* To check on the well-being of your baby if you have a blood sensitization, such as Rh sensitization. This is a complex condition that can occur if your blood is a different type than your baby's. (Note: Obstetricians are increasingly using Doppler ultrasound for this purpose instead of amnio.)
