Petrol Price in Malaysia

Do you think reducing the price of petrol is a good plan?

The price of fuel has been the main issue in Malaysia since the previous election, Malaysians were crying out loud as the price increase up to 40% of its original price to RM2.70. After receiving complains, different parties promised to reduce the price of petrol to help reduce the cost of living because of inflation. Subsidy was given to every Malaysian as one of the methods to reduce the cost of living. Now every other month they would evaluate the price of petrol and adjust it accordingly. But do you think it is a good idea? Does it really benefit the public or will things get worst from here?

Personally, I do not think the need to reduce the price of petrol should be a priority. I don't get why is it important to keep focusing on the price of petrol when there are so many other issues in hand that needs attention. Yes, i agree that the first hike of the fuel price was painful, but now look at the price, it has dropped to RM1.80?! I even saw one thread that mention RM1.80 was so cheap.

Now before you start cursing me and back stabbing me hear me out. What i'm trying to say is, the main focus shouldn't only be on the price of fuel. What we should complain about is the bad Public Transportation System, or maybe Education, or some way to help develop Malaysia into a successful country, build a future for the country. Why should we be selfish and think of our own benefit by complaining that the price of fuel is too expensive which causes the country to fork out billions of ringgit to satisfy our needs. The same amount of money spend to satisfy ourselves so we don't have to walk to a bus stop and wait for a bus could be spend to help build more schools in rural area, or help develop our local industries or help build better public transportation system. If you wanna own a car, you have to be responsible and prepared to pay the price, whether if it's to maintain it or to pay for fuel to run it. You can't just go sleep around with any women, and when she gets pregnant you just runaway and not be responsible for it. (Do you?) Our demand for cheaper fuel price will only hold Malaysia back from becoming a succesful country in the eye of the world.

We need to open our eyes and realise that our country isn't the only place affected by the increase of fuel price. We also need to realise that, oil is not an unlimited supply, one day it will run dry, and what do we do then? Suddenly hike up the price once again? And all these ho-ha starts all over again? Yes, fuel is.. sorry was very expensive, but now the government needs to place their focus on developing the country. Only then can they help everyone.

Killer Taxi Drivers...

If you walk around tourist ares (Sg Wang, KLCC, etc) you can see a row of taxi parked at the side of the road. They don't wait at the normal taxi stand, they just wait around at the side of the road waiting for customers especially tourist. Then, when you ask them to take you some where, they will give you a FIXED price to wherever your destination is. And they will charge probably 2 to 3 times more than just running on normal meter. I know that taxi drivers have to make a living, but i feel this is too much.

There once when I was rushing to KLCC from Sg Wang, I asked one of the taxi drivers to send me, "Eh, dik, RM15 kalau pergi KLCC", WTF?? I got out of the car slammed the door, and walked to KLCC. Cause i knew the rest of the taxi there would probably give me the same price. The taxi driver even shouted and scolded me for wasting his time as I walked off. WTF?? waste your time? cb.. Then my time spend walking?

How bout you guys? What was the most expensive taxi fair you had to pay?

Hi, just wanna know how much have you spend playing at the arcade?

I know a friend who spend RM1000+ playing Inital D, for each version

I personally spend RM100+ myself playing version 3. After awhile realise that i wouldn't be very good at it and was a waste of money.

So just wanna know how much you HARDCORE players have spend and on which game?

Have you ever been caught in an jam that was caused by an accident? I think almost everyday there would be an accident on one of the major highways and this would cause hundreds of cars behind it to be caught in a jam which could last for half an hour or worst, a few hours!! What is the cause of these jams? Is those nosy on-lookers who get so excited about an accident and decides to slow down and have a look. WTF??! What are you looking for? Gold? Money? If you wanna slow down, why dont you stop at the side of the road and help out?? What help will you provided if you just slow down? the only thing you are doing is just causing a long stretch of jam behind you. That goes for the opposite side of the road. Hello?? The accident is not on your side of the road, why the **** do you need to slow down for? It did not affect your sides driving flow! And most of you complain "Why so jam?? , What happen??" It's because of all these on-lookers with their itch to look for a dead body, or the plate number to buy 4D.. You want number for 4D?? how bout i start a forum for you to generate 4 random numbers. then you can slowly check it out everyday! [B]zzz.[/B]

HID light?

I have a problem, I was stopped by the police recently for installing white light in my Myvi. The brand is (Philips Crystal Vision 4300k). Is this considered HID light or something else? What is considered illegal now? Can anyone explain to me pls? Thank you.
