WIFI Disconnect when copy paste files locally

Hi Guys, I encountered a weird problems, each time when I copy files from one folder to the other, my WIFI will get disconnected. And I have to manually click and select the SSID to connect it back. I using Window 10 and TPLINK T4U AC1300 MU-MIMO adapter and it wasn't my home WIFI issues at all. My Asus router still able to allow my phone and other notebook to surf net without interruption, so it must be something to do with my own rig. Please helps.

Realtek Sound HD Manager

Hi Guys, I using Asrock B450 build in realtek sound chip, however, I found it was slightly different with my very old Realtek sound chip on my GA-785GM Motherboard.

Previously, I can connect my speaker to rear green port and connect my headset to any port then go to Realtek Sound HD manager that define the port is Line In, Out or etc. Then I can control the sound coming out from speaker or headset without manually plug and unplug the cable.

However, with the new Asrock B450 Build, window10 btw, I found it doesnt work. Follow some thread manage to install back the Realtek HD Sound Manager but I cant define the port for what purpose, however, it still can detect when I connect something into the jack port. I connected my speaker to green jack port and it works fine.

So i connect my headset to any of the port, and try, there is no sound no matter how i try, until I connect the headset to the front panel spk port, and I can hear the sound from my headset, however, my speaker got no sound

So my question is, any possible I can switch / swap the sound to coming out from speaker or headset without unplug the cable? When the headset connect to front panel spk port, my speaker got no sound at all until I unplug the headset from front panel spk port

Very annoying cause I mount my PC on wall at height..so have to crawl up to unplug / plug cable

unstable network connectivity at home

Previously, my rigel streamyx modem was connected with Xiaomi Router and everything work greats. I used 4Mbps line and disabled the wireless on riger streamyx modem and only used xiaomi router to broadcast the wireless SSID. There is one LAN cable connect from Riger streamyx modem Port 1 to Xiaomi router WAN port.

Few day ago, the WAN port on xiaomi router was spoiled. So unable to get connected hence i take our my spare DLINK DWR921 modem to replace xiaomi router. But then i found the connection was very unstable. My connection will kept dropping through WiFi.

Riger Streamyx Modem : 192.168.1.1
DHCP : enabled

DLink DWR921 : 192.168.2.1
DHCP : Enabled

should i disable one of the DHCP? The Wireless LAN on riger Streamyx Modem was disabled. How i can pair this with my Dlink DWR921? LAN 1 port to DWR921 WAN port now.

General IT or Engineering IT got better career

Hi Guys, I fall into the dilemma for my future and really need some guidance for you guys! Let me introduce some of my backgrounds, 29 years old this years and I graduated from Degree major Information System Engineering, got experienced in IT technician, Helpdesk specialist, Network Engineer and now Infrastructure Engineer. My existing jobs scope covered quite wide about site infrastructure which included network portion likes network switching, firewalls, O365 admin, PBX system, CCTV System, Physical access system, EUC and so on.

But now when i thinking to move on for higher paid and better career progression, i fall into a hard situation that the next hop levels will be senior role or project manager role, i wonder that my existing knowledge isn't able to cope with those positions, and i afraid that i unable to do well. Besides than that, my existing company do offer me another roles which is support Power Station Engineering IT role ( Currently i woking in power station). The jobs will mainly maintain and support those Power generator, MHI System, System Logic, DCS System and so on, it still IT roles but then is more specialist on those engineering and mechanical stuff, some colleague told me that by moving to this fields, i will learning those professional jobs scope that can bring better career progression for me and market are demanding for that now. And it also brings more opportunity.

But my concern was, if i move on to this fields, after few years there i want to leave again, i can't really join back to general IT rights? Likes those network engineer / System administrator or so on, as my last few years experience all on the Power Station IT parts.

Synologic NAS for Home Entertaintment

Hi All,

How much to get Basic Set of Synologic NAS? Since my fatherhood life starting few years back, my only hobby and entertainment only left movie session with "Mute" sound mode when both baby was sleep. I got one Xiaomi Router at home which support USB Device, so now i put all the downloaded movie into one External HDD and plug into my Xiaomi Router so i can use App to view from my phone / iPad.

However, when my fatherhood life more and more stress, i need more and more big screen ( eye semakin blur ), so i thinking to setup proper synologic NAS at home so easier for me to Upload / Download movie and also can view from my SamsungTV. But how much roughly for this setup? I got my own 2TB harddisk so i only need the equipment ready.

And also, if i bought one router support giga port and wireless N, and connect the giga port to synologic, through RJ45 cable to my smartTV i should encounter minor latency right?

Samsung SmartTv Without WiFi to connect internet

Hi All,

I have one Samsung SmartTV without WiFi and i want it to be able to access to WiFi so i can open youtube for my kids to view. What is the suggestion to do so?

1. Purchase Homeplug and connect RJ45 cable from HomePlug Receiver to SmartTV?

2. Googlecast or chromecast if connect to TV able to let TV online or even we can WiFi Direct or DLNA, screen mirroring to that TV from our smartphone?

3. Raspberry Pi3 installed window OS and connect the SmartTV and treat the TV as monitor?

4. What else?

Transfer Ownership Charges

Hi Guys, need you guys helps.

My parent's house under Citibank housing loan, and now I plan to fully settle the house loan. The house owner belong to my eldest brother and me. But after fully settle, I want to change the ownership from my eldest brother and me to my mum and me. How much will be the charges?

Understand from Citibank, after I done the fullsettle payment, I have to get lawyer to discharge it from Citibank and proceed for change of ownership. Can I do it without lawyer? Mean, I go Citibank take back the house title (geran) than go to lawyer firm and get them to change the ownership? Or I can take the house title (geran) to government office (land office or etc) to do the transfer ownership my own?

What will be the cheapest solutions to transfer the ownership in my case?

URGENT : HOW TO KNOW THE HOUSE BELONG TO WHOSE

Hi Everyone, really need some helps here. I just received news from my mother-in-law that few hours ago there is one gang of indian gangsters come to my mother-in-law house with wooden stick and yell outside of the house. My mother-in-law not around that time. Those gangsters mentioned that my father-in-law owe bank money and if never proceed for payment the house will tiok lelong.

My in-law actually breakup cause my father-in-law got mister outside, however, they never officially divorce yet. And according to my mother-in-law, she actually change the name under her own name many years ago. In this case, my father-in-law cannot take the house for refinance right? But we worry that my mother-in-law was not actually get the transfership done last time hence my father-in-law get the chance take the house for refinance.

So in this scenario, any suggestion to find out or investigate this? Anyway to know the house belong to who? or register under what name? Or the house refinance with which bank? what is the oustanding balance?

Magic work on tiles to made it shinning

Recently i just bought a resale house with original tiles inside, thinking to laminate the floor but due to tight budget, consider to continue using the tiles but the tiles look like "dirty", any magic to polish or made it shinning shinning? Btw, the photo shown places was extended area, previously it was part of car pouch area.

Branded sofa vs local furniture shop sofa

Struggling when survey for sofa now days. At first, kept visit those shop like Lorenzo, Rozel, Gucca, Milan to search for their leather sofa, but those sofa mostly RM6k-->more than Rm10K which i think is quite expensive to get, although is quite comfort! (some is looks good but not comfort too )

Than last week saw FB advertisement when i sitting at a display sofa which worth RM24k in Rozel shophouse, the furniture shop is just nearby to that showhouse and doing some promotion which include almost all living room set + bed room set with RM7999 (TV cabinet + coffee table + dinning table + 6xdinning chair + L shape fabric sofa + 8ft wardrobe + queen size bed frame + dresser + side table ) , so decide to pay a visit.

Once reach the furniture shop, the outlook like nothing special, just ordinary local furniture shop but after enter, those furniture selling inside looks good, feels good and stunning price, end up we decide no taking the RM7999 set as the price made no different if you taking the whole set, so we went for survey and end up i found a huge L shape fabric sofa which looks good, and very comfortable cause it was huge and suitable for me and also my guest who mostly XXXL size..the sofa was just RM3899 with fully washable cover.

After few hours shopping inside, our shopping list was total RM15k we can settle whole house furniture (living room+dinning room+master room+2xGuest Room) which almost same price with a Rozel sofa.

But now, lets talk about the quality, anyone facing problem on local furniture shop quality? Isn't really so bad? For branded furniture, isn't really so last longer or worth to get it?

Anyone know how much this cost to do something like partition or wall to cover up the stage case? I will add some curtain at the red part so when i opening the aircon it wont run until upstair, cause my living room is linked with staircase, dining area, dry kitchen and wet kitchen, so when i open aircon, put down the curtain, and close the wet kitchen door, whole area can cover by aircon and the aircon wont "run" to upstair

Hi, recently i was setup my hotmail receive and send email by outlook 2007. Everything was look fine and i able to receive email and sending email. But i found the junk email was not up to date. I check from hotmail there i got lot of junk email but my outlook was just several and the date was like 3 weeks ago. How to made it able to receive latest junk email?

Asus Notebook is crap?

I purchased Asus Ultraslim notebook K46CB 2 weeks ago, 1 weeks can said less use as all my stuff still in my old notebook. After spend a weekend to move all the data and setup my notebook, felt like can start enjoy new notebook already, than after 2 days, NO DISPLAY ON LCD!! Try to connect to external display to confirm the computer still working and it show the display. but try to duplicate or extend monitor the LCD still no respond. Claim that the LCD might be spoil already. WTF, 2 weeks? U serious?

I though Asus should be reliable product than Compaq or Acer but it really shock me!

Config wireless router act like repeater

Hi currently was using a wireless router with 4 port on upstair but downstair the signal was weak, although i know repeater will work to enhance the wireless signal at downstair but now i got another 2 wireless router not used. So i wonder can i made one of the wireless router act like repeater function at downstair? One of the wireless brand was Linksys WA120G.

Ways :

from upstair use LAN cable to connect with the Linksys router at downstair, and configure linksys router as bridge but not work.

Configure linksys router ethernet port as WAN but not work also.

It can connect but the problem is cannot browse internet. How?

Celcom unlimited quota broadband really?

Hi, recently bought one CELCOM 3.5G PREPAID BROADBAND and i just want to use temporary for 1 month, and the reason i subscribe it because of 4Gb quota and RM38 for one month which i just want to use 1 month. After try the package and found the speed is satisfy, consider want to replace my digi tablet plan with this. But wonder the 4Gb quota things. The seller claim that 4GB quota after exceed the quota the speed will NOT tolerance and remain fast. Isn't true? I think to try it myself by downloading 4GB data than see the speedtest after that but i got no BALL because i still need it for following one weeks and scare that speed was tolerance until hardly to use it. Anyone was tried? Mind to share with me? Btw, below is the package that seller promote :
