Greyscale Calibration

Still newbie in this area. My very first greyscale calibration test on HD65 projector.

Tools: Xrite Eye-One colorimeter with HCFR software. DVE test disc.

Results: After calibration, I can see more dark details . Tested with Dark Knight. But color wise is less vibrant than before. Perhaps this is more natural color

Measurement data (Top: After, Bottom: Before, target x=0.313 and y=0.329)

Any DIY Diffusor?

There are some DIY bass trap kaki around here.

How about Diffusor? Any DIY kaki here willing to share your stuff?

This one from angmore, cannot imagine the amount of time & effort Too much for me. Looking for much simple design.

Frequency Response Curve

I just bought the Sound Level Meter and try to plot the frequency response curve of my gears. Test tones downloaded from the Internet.

I played full spectrum pink noise to set the sound level of 80dBC, then the test tones from 20Hz to 20kHz for sound level measurement.

I can see the major dip below 40Hz and above 12500Hz. Is there any remedy to get flat response curve, e.g. speaker placement? Any recommendation is welcome
