A DIY Cockpit for Racing Simulation ( GT6 )

This is what I see while driving the car in GT6. If I videotape the drive, I can fool my viewers that they think I drive the real car ( with right camera angle and exposure ).

I've been developing simulator & custom rigs and off course I need honest input from real racer ( unlike me who only can join 2-3 track days session per year ), So here the story.

They have been active in MSS and Amatuer Championships ( Dato Sagor, Pasir Gudang etc )

And their input is mostly positive but there are areas need to be improved.

- they complain about lacking motion ( the most expesive part while building a simulator )..especially 6 DOF
- the braking feel is awkward ( real car have friction, in simulator the technonoly not exist yet )

And the positive one
+ steering ratio seems close to real one
+ tire temp seems correct
+ braking points is like the real one in track

I'm a self taught person and been 3 years using services from AWS ( Amazon Web Services )

Since I develop private streaming video CDN, I found Amazon AWS infra is quite flexible and the price is ok.

The questions are, how many are you guys dwelling with Amazon AWS ? I think it's the future or current hot job.

If you're familiar with Amazon AWS, tell me what project that you use them for ?

For my case, I use AWS for develop private video streaming to terrestial broadcaster that shifted to online streaming.

Maybe if the number of bandwidth flowing to AWS Singapore is gergantuan big in size, that maybe open Amazon eyes to open a datacenter over here in malaysia.....
