Should a Pair of Couple has background Lie ?

Hi , I'am curious about this . But I use to be 100% no lying to my girl friend . Know what , to me and her , we discuss everything , including girls & guy which attracted us in life , cool huh ? . It's was like kinda weird sometimes for being so , but still , i feel more released & no worried in what I've done which worried she might get angry with .

In another hand , what I know from others ( my close friend which is male ) said that , Guy should lie with a minimum sentence due to long last the relationship ( i feel like craps cut out my ear in my brain == ) and some said Guy should lie , don't tell her ( your girlfriend ) everything , she might feel unhappy if you tells her .

For girl , do you think you want to hear a happy tale with a fake story line ? or you would like to know the true story which hurts your heart by a Angel Lover Arrow ? ==

Wondering , why still I have full confidence with my soul mate as still others says wont be forever ? Am i doing the correct thing ? Please state you vote "YES" ( should lie to make your partner happy ) or "NO" ( should be generous ) , and of course your sex ( e.g : male or female ) before commenting . thx guys , hope comment below of forumers may help others out there too
