Macbook Pro 2011 HDD Corrupted

Hi gais.

As the topic & description say... my old Macbook Pro hhd confirm hancur already. It won't even boot OS and when I go to disk utility to verify & repair.. it just says that it's beyond repairing lol.

So I need to replace to new HDD and install new OS. Went to Machines and they were gonna charge me close to RM900... I'm guessing I can actually get much cheaper if I go elsewhere? Can give me estimate? (HD size I guess... 1TB or slightly lower is fine la..)

Hopefully sifus here can advise, thanks!

Playstation 4 - DNS Settings for Netflix & Hulu

Hi,

I have recently subscribed to http://proxydns.co/ps3/ and did the configurations on PS4 correctly. It works for Hulu (have tested with DNS & without, without DNS Hulu will block me) but not Netflix. I tested the DNS on my desktop, and I can use Netflix just fine, but still not on the PS4 Netflix app.

Some here have said that the Netflix app is able to bypass your custom DNS configurations and check your IP against common DNS (8.8.8.8, etc)... or something like that, and a solution to this is to block the common dns in Firewall settings of your router.. I've tried this but somehow this just straight away disables my internet.

FYI:
- Downloaded Netflix App using US PSN
- Have tried the following DNS (subscribed): http://proxydns.co/ps3/ and simpletv
- Am subscribed to both Hulu & Netflix
- Works fine for Hulu but not Netflix (Netflix works fine on desktop, using DNS)

Is anyone else facing this problem? Appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

Update:
Using proxydns.co, I have tried going to PS4 browser and visited http://manager.proxydns.co/#activate to check if the DNS is activated.. and yes it says that it is "Installed and working.", which means that the PS4 browser can detect that Proxydns dns configuration is correct on PS4, but still unable to use Netflix.

Update 2:
Solved. If anyone else is facing the same problem, on the screen that says "Netflix is not available in your country".. sign in first, and once you get to the options page.. sign out.
You should be able to use it then, provided that you already setup the DNS prior to doing this. Also, I'm using Unblock-us.com now.. seems fastest.

Balanced 1/4 TRS to TRS cable audio jack

Hi guys,

I have been going around and to many (I do mean many) places looking for the said cable.
Went to Bentley and other music shops, DIY shops, electronic shops. None.

I need it to connect Boss FS-6 dual footswitch to Roland SPD-30, using the normal 1/4 audio jack the module
is only able to detect single footswitch.

Some guy suggested I go to Jalan Pasar to find them or even order to make one.
Just want to find out if you guys know where else I can find them.
