it show differents on the laptop sticker and the catalouge and those stupida salesman dunno how to explain to me cause they also not sure about it zzzz

I switch my monitor from CRT 17inch to 22inch LCD
everything is fine except when i playing games like warcraft, maple, cabal n etc. mine screen is not FULL screen.
it is my grahpic card problem? i using ATI Radeon 9550.

i need help in buying a new CPU for gaming purpose, any suggestion ?
it is AMD good? because i never used a AMD b4. Alot ppl suggest me to buy AMD instead of pentium because i can spend more on the VGA but it is huge different in term of performance on the AMD n the Pentium??
