SriKL - A good school for expat's kid?

Hi,

I'm planning to move to Malaysia in late this year/early next year and I have a 6 year old daughter, for whom I need to find an INTL School for primary 1. I found Sri KL (and also recommended by a few) as one of the shortlisted International School for my daughter. If there are ex-students, parents of Sri KL, I would like to ask the following questions and seek your feedback.

1. Is Sri KL considered a good school in terms of teaching/education standards
2. Is Sri KL a good place for a child who do not speak Malay/Chinese.
3. Does Sri KL have a safe and good atmosphere

Trip to Langkawi from KL

Hello everyone,

I'm gonna need suggestions here. I gotta travel to Langkawi on this coming weekend (Going on Friday and coming back on Monday). Just now I check the tickets on AirAsia, it was like 500 RM for return ticket. May be its a bit expensive since its in weekend.

But, I have no idea which express bus lines are good. I'm looking for reasonable price and comfortable one. And, how long is the trip to Langkawai from KL by bus?

Or, any other suggestions ?

Need to Repair Toshiba M200 Notebook

Hi,

So, straight to the point, I need to repair my Toshiba Satellite M200 notebook as it becomes too hot at the left hand side palm rest. Since, its out of warranty period, I'm looking for a trusted and customer friendly service center to fix the lappy.

I tired to Google it and found a Toshiba Authorized Service center but its located in Shah Alam which is kinda far from my place and I don't really know how to get there. I'm staying in KL, btw.

I hope I could get the recommendations from you all.

Can't use Digi Sim with NEC e232 Handset

I just bought a digi sim card today n found out that my phone (NEC e232) doesn't support the card. Is there any workaround ?

Currently I'm using with Celcom.

Is there any software update for 3M Mobile's H10 HSDPA Modem ? The one that comes with the modem package doesn't have the Auto Reconnect feature if connection is disconnected. It's really annoy me when I found out the downloads are stopping in the morning.

Or is there any other tricks to perform auto reconnect?
