B40 classification

Hi all. Just wanted to ask, what is B40 classification based on?

BPN/BSH are based on the last year salary. Let say someone who was previously T20, hence did not receive any BPN/BSH but now due to pandemic, his current salary is inside B40 category, can he apply for targeted assistance from bank based on B40?

Hi, not sure if this is the right section to post this. But here it is,

Due to covid, i suffered a huge paycut up to 85%. I just bought a car 2 years ago. It is a secondhand import car. The loan balance right now is exceeding the car market value.

I managed to google around a bit and found out that we can send the car back to the bank. The bank will then auction it and the balance will be borne by us. We can discuss with the bank to pay the balance in installment.

I am aware that the auction price will be very low but i believe this is my only option as my car is not a model that crowds favourite.

Anyone have any experience in this? Maybe shed some light on the process.

I am looking for change my car’s tyre. Done little survey around the net and apparently 255/45/20 tyre is quite rare and hard to find.

I am quite clueless on which brand are good. Currently using Rovelo tyres that comes with the car. Any recommendation?

Car Accident Court Case

Hi guys. Just wanted to ask.

About 2 years ago, my sister had an accident while driving my car. Now the other guy is sueing her and me as the owner of the car. As per what i understand, he is trying to claim the insurance from my car.

The thing is, i had change insurance provider since the accident. Last time I believed during the accident I was having etiqa. As of right now, im having diff provider.

The question is, which party should i contact regarding the case? Etiqa or current provider. Please advice.

Hi, what is good brand for 20inch tyre? I tried to find the price online but most only listed up to 18inch only. Most of major brands does not list their 20inch line.

Had a good experience on Michelin primacy 3st 17inch on my other car so i wonder whether the same tyre available for 20inch? If not, am looking for the same performance as primacy 3st if budget allows.

Hi,

Planning to buy a secondhand car. Current commitment DSR based on the lowest income, 37%. After factor in the new car installment, DSR is 54%. What is the chance of approval?

And is there any way to inform the bank that starting this month our salary just got increased significantly to increase the chance of approval? I do have black and white from the company but no payslip yet cz my salary is backdated from a month earlier ( productivity in october will be paid in november and so on)

Looking for opinions before I send out the docs to the dealer.

Pre-approved car loan

Hey guys, anyone here familiar with the process of pre-approved car loan from the bank?

I am planning to get a recon car. I read a lot regarding this pre-approved loan but most of it is overseas and i cant find any information for malaysia.

For me, it would be easier to get the loan preapproved so i can get the car relatively quicker while reduce the hassle to travel back n forth if anything inadequate for the loan application.

Will the dealer accept this type of loan? My last purchased of car both were managed by the dealer themselves for the loan application so a bit out of idea regarding this.

And any banker here can offer me with nice interest rate? 😅

Hi, I wished to become the guarantor for my mom's new car since her current car is giving her problems. Just a good Bezza/ Persona will do. She will service the monthly payment herself. Since she has no job, she cant apply for loan herself.

the question here is, i myself, plan to buy a car aswell. what worries me is whether it will affect the loan approval for my own car. Does become a guarantor for her car loan will show up in my ccris report? I doubt so consider she make payment on time everymonth but just wanna have some reassurance from those who experienced it before.

Hey guys. Any one using M2u unit trust? Ive subscribe to some fund but decided to redeem it.

The things is the redeem transaction is successful but it is in units instead of MYR. How long usually maybank will credit the amount into our acc? We dont have to visit the branch to cash it out right?

Just shed some light for me from those who has experience regarding this thing.

Taskbar Program Lead to Different Site

Hey guys,

Got little bit of problem here which i dont know what causes and how to solve it.

I've been using google chrome quite often thus i decided to pin the program on the taskbar for easy click. the problem here is, if i clicked the pin program on the taskbar, the google chrome will popped up and bring me to some website.

i tried to reinstall, change the homepage but it still bring me to the site. however, the catch is, this only happened if i open the chrome from taskbar. absolutely no problem if i open the chrome from the desktop icon or from the start menu.

any help guys?

NCD Refund Question

Hi guys. I just want to clarify how the NCD refund is calculated?

I just transferred NCD from old car to new car. Bought new car without NCD initially and only transferred recently. The NCD is 45%. And the Insurance Premium for new car with 0% NCD is 2.9k not inclusive of GST. I just received the refund today but only received around 900. from my calculation I should receive at least 1.3k right? or is it calculated differently?

Im totally new to this and I going to give a call tomorrow but I want to make sure the fact is right first. been googling around but no info avail regarding this.

Can i afford a 2nd car?

Hi guys. Just wanted to ask for opinion whether i can afford a second car or not. Im getting married soon so im looking for a second car. I know this is very subjective question since everyone lifestyle in terms of financial is different, but i just want to have a rough idea about it.

Gross income is around 7k+. After car loan, study loan epf etc2, nett income is around 4k. Im looking to get 2nd used car price range around 70-80k with monthly installment around 800 per month. I know i can afford it but what is ur opinion? Will bank approve my loan?

Last time i check my CCRIS was clean no outstanding payment. And i read on the net that 3 times monthly payment should not exceed income. Feel free to share your opinion especially those that experience in used car loan.

Trade In Car under Loan

Hi guys.

I owned Perodua Myvi 1.5SE year 2012 Auto. Still have balance around 41k with the bank. I am looking to trade in this car for another second hand car.

The thing is the car is still under loan. I searched around that this is possible to do but I will be the one on the downside. I read somewhere that we can actually let it go the used car dealer but that way it is too risky if they defaulted the monthly payment. Do you guys know any other way to do this?

I am new about this trade in things. Im just looking for opinion first.
