Melaka: Suami isteri, masing-masing berusia 32 dan 38 tahun direman tujuh hari bermula hari ini bagi membantu siasatan kes dera sehingga menyebabkan kematian kanak-kanak lelaki berusia tujuh tahun.

Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Melaka Asisten Komisioner Mohd Sukri Kaman berkata, perintah reman tersebut dikeluarkan oleh Penolong Pendaftar Mahkamah Majistret Mohd Anuar Ostadi di Mahkamah Majistret Ayer Keroh hari ini.

Semalam, seorang kanak-kanak lelaki berusia tujuh tahun maut, dipercayai akibat didera ibu kandung dan bapa tirinya dalam kejadian di Taman Krubong Jaya di sini.

Kanak-kanak malang tersebut didakwa lemas di dalam tong air di rumahnya dalam kejadian kira-kira pukul 4 petang itu namun siasatan siasatan awal polis mendapati terdapat kecederaan fizikal pada badan mangsa.

Mayat kanak-kanak tersebut dibawa ke Jabatan Forensik Hospital Melaka untuk bedah siasat dan kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan kerana membunuh.

PETALING JAYA: The current partners in the ruling coalition must remain united to face the 15th general election (GE15) or face the prospect of losing to Pakatan Harapan (PH) which has a “grand opposition plan,” warned Annuar Musa.

The Barisan Nasional (BN) secretary-general said his coalition, Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) must remain united in anticipation of GE15.

In a Facebook post, the federal territories minister said he considered GE15 the “mother of all GEs”.

Annuar warned that a lack of cooperation among the ruling coalition could result in PH taking over Putrajaya again under a “grand opposition coalition”.

Malay political parties and the Islamic political movement should always come hand in hand and avoid splitting up,” he said.

THE government has no plans to propose an amendment to the federal constitution to postpone elections in a pandemic, and will instead opt to propose a state of emergency, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Takiyuddin Hassan said.
