Hi, i'm currently in a dilemma which monitor to choose for my upgrade. Currently using using Dell S2740L IPS glossy monitor for gaming n movies. Games i play currently is anthem, dmc5 and some nox emulator games. Wanted to try out 144Hz monitor with budget 1.5k, GPU is Rtx2070.

Questions:
- is 1440p important for 27"
- is freesync important for 144hz
- will the transition from ips to TN/VA a huge quality drop in terms if pic quality?
- will it be better to save more budget for a higher quality ones?

any good youtube channel about monitors ?

No Cdrom option in boot menu

Just bought an Asus A45vd laptop and its running on windows 8.

Not used to windows 8 and lots of program cant run on windows 8 so i decided to downgrade it to win7.

The thing is, i'm reformatting using a bootable win7 dvd disc, then i went into bios, boot priority, and there is no option for me to choose cdrom, but the cdrom is detected by the bios.

The cdrom is running fine in win8, i can read n burn disc like normal. What the problem here

Summary : - No cdrom option in boot list/menu
- Bios detects cdrom in hardware list
- Tested the cdrom by copying files and burning

just wanna know that can i use the lan port 4 to connect to a computer?
i'm not using iptv since i've already got astro. internet is not working on lan port 4 atm. is there any way to disable the iptv on lan port 4?

i just bought E8200 proc recently, and i found something weird bout the temp....the core 1 temp is bout 50+ and core 2 about 40+...but the total temp is only 17 degrees ??? and the fan speed is at constant 2.9krpm ....here is da pic of the temp shown

and i bought thermalright hr03 rev. A too....after i install it(with a fan on), the temps is higher than my stock temps...stock HIS only can go bout 60+ max, but thermalright went up to 80!

Air Ventilation

currently using raidmax sirius seris casing, found out that my mobo temp still go up still 50.....

so i decided to add 1 fan that has a high air flow.....but the question is, shud i put the fan sucking fresh air into the casing or blowing out air from the casing? and put where? i found out only my southbridge is heating up....northbridge has no problem.....and my graphics card temp can go till 60++ >_<

sucking air inside will lead to lots of dust inside rite?

opinions?
