Suggestion of upgrade spec for 3D rendering

P55-US3L Motherboard
Intel® Core™ i5 650@3.20CHz
4GB RAM
Quadro 600
Windows7 32 bit

Plan to upgrade my comp, but confuse spend money to upgrade it or get a new set.
Has a problem of force to close 3ds max while rendering.
