Anyone here staying at Vista Impiana. Im thinking of buying an unit there and staying in 1 room and renting out 2 other rooms. What do you guys think of the condo?

Any problems you have so far? I understand there are alot of foreigners there, Plus the price for the unit is kinda cheap, RM155k for a condo in KL with facilities is considered cheap. I wonder what is the catch behind this price? Theff?
Is the rental there good? Did survey on the rental, seems good, the rental ranges from 1.2k - 950 .

Would appreciate if anyone here could enlighten me. Thanks a bunch!

Installing Ubuntu Linux on Macbook?
Anyone tried this before?
Theres plenty of tutorials online... but then just too scared to try it out as my macbook is just 3 days old HEHE!

Anyone tried and succeeded? Mind to share your experience?

I think the eyecandy wise ubuntu is far ahead of osx.. but then usability wise maybe mac wins

Streamyx PROBLEM for the past 1 month +

Anyone living in Jelutong, Penang area experiencing Streamyx problem?
Ive been having problem with the connection for more than 1 month.
Called and complaint, they came and blamed it on my wires. They asked me to change the wiring, and they did it for me and charged RM100, BUT the problem havent been solved, Im still having problem with my net. So basically I wasted RM100 for NOTHING! Its very hard to get connected at night, after 9pm. Even if i get connected, they computer icon on the taskbar WONT blink, Sometimes it will blink and the net will be working for 1 or 2 minutes and then goes back to its non blinking state! Connection seem to be ok during the day but still slow if compared to last time.

I cant download, i cant surf, my msn keep disconnecting! ARGHH!! Feel like killing TMNUT!

Its SO OBVIOUS the problem is alot of people using the same port, its overloaded!! But they just dont want to admit it and try to find fault on us!

Anyone else having this same problem?
What shall I do? Thinking of switching to Maxis broadband but I heard its the same as streamyX!

MacBook for Web Designing.. any opinion?

Planning to "switch" from PC, to MAC...so planning to buy a MacBook. I cant afford Mac Book Pro YET, so I just have to go with macbook, so any of you using mac book for web designing / flash / photoshop / ? Will it run smoothly? I wont be doing much printing work, so most of my works will be 72dpi, So what ya'll think? Any opinion? Shall i go for it?
