(Repeater + Bridge) support on routers

Hi guys,

I'm in need of a wireless router that is able to both act as a wireless repeater and bridge the LAN. In other words, receive wifi and outputs wifi and LAN.

I have no experience in this so I did some research. The most common way is to flash ddwrt onto compatible routers. Before going for that, are there any alternatives like maybe some routers already have that feature installed etc?

Hi, I'm new to the whole overclocking scene so bare with me pls
My specs are as followed:
Processor - DualCore E5300 2.6Ghz
Cooler - CM Hyper 48
Mobo - Asrock G41M-S
PSU - CM 500W Extreme Power Plus
GPU - Sapphire HD4850
Ram - 2gb Kingston 800Mhz

I've tried overclocking my E5300 from 2.6 to 3.0 by just changing the FSB from 200>230, with x13 multiplier, locked. Everything's stable, temps are good, abt 45degreeC under load. Throughout the overclocking process I've been using prime95 ofcourse.

So I tried pumping more, fsb at 234 had rare occasions of hanging, and 237 just crashed most of the times, eventhough I increased my Vcore by 0.1-0.2V, also my temps were still gd at those fsb clocks. So I just went back to 230 with stock Vcore. My ram is 2:1 with my proc, running at 460mhz.

So can somebody consult me on how to further push my system?

How to detect a scam job?

Hi, I'm a student looking for a part time tutoring job. I've just found 1 but feeling a little uneasy about the job, so i need help.

I've recently went for an interview to see a person who claims that he have a job offer for me to teach primary school students a subject called ~. ~ is a subject that teaches students how to use an ~ and improve their ~. So during the interview in ~, he said I have to attend training for about a day, ~, for around ~. Training starts the following day in a shoplot in ~. The system works like this, he'll partnership with a government school to allow him to send tutors like me to teach in that school and that subject on a weekend as the school's extra co-curricular activity. So when he feels my training is finished, he'll appoint me into 1 of those schools. The interview went smooth as he gave me lots of info and benefits and queries about the job. He claims that he ~ already in ~ and have another partner in ~, he also brought an example of a book that student had done and marked. So he handed me his name card and we left it there, everything during the interview seemed legit.

But after the interview, about half an hour later, he call/text me asking for a ~ during the training as a "~". By then i feel a little weird because as an employee I don't think I'm suppose to pay anything, but maybe it was normal for other agencies, so i just went along. During the day of training, he calls me and told me that training on that day had to be cancelled and will call me for another time. So everything seems too informal for me and I started checking his name card online. It had 2 different company names on each side of the name card, an address and any standard info you'd find on a name card. I started googling for the 2 companies, ~ (~) and ~. No info was found on google, but i found ~, however its a different logo online than on the name card, so it's not the same. So i google map the address on the name card, ~, no match came out, closest was ~

So I think you can see what's going on, but how can i double confirm whether his job offer is a valid job or not? I plan to ask him all of these on our next meeting before i give him the money, but before that, is there anyway I can verify all these information and is there any questions I should ask him when we meet? Like company number/code or anything of the sort, cause I'm not familiar with all these yet as I'm a student.

Thanks

Edit: Anyways I also think its a scam, but generally is there anyway to verify the information and stuff as said in my last few lines?

HD media player (AC Ryan, WD TV, Xtreme)

I'm planning to buy a media player to hook up onto my TV and sound system with a budget of rm500 to rm1000. Any suggestions of a gd media player?

Edit:

I've chosen the 3 most popular players (AC Ryan Fat/Mini, WD TV, Xtreme Fat/Mini), but I'm confused of which 1 to buy so far cause there's alot of things to consider, so i need some external opinion on what i should get. I'm considering price, performance during movie playback (fast forwards/reverse) and supported formats.

I'm also confused of whether to get internal or external and which 1 is the cheaper option. My PC and my TV are far apart, so if i go for internal HD, i need a wireless n network, expensive. If i go for external HD, the performance will reduce, but don't know till what extend for 2.5" and 3.5" HD's.

HP Mini Netbook Speaker

Hello, I dismantled my netbook today and thought of replacing the cheap stock speakers with something a little more umph. I can't bare with the current 1 because it can't go loud nor is it even clear. So i'm planning to resolder the speakers. Anyone know where I can get those tiny decent quality speakers?
I know its a netbook and the sound quality will still suck, but as long as its better than the current one, I'm happy.

Samsung F1 HD502ij or WD Caviar Green
Both are 500gb, but its for my internal hdd, I'm going to use it as my primary hard drive. Any suggestions or experiences with the products please share.

Also, anyway I can copy my entire current hdd files into the new hdd without the need for reinstalling?

Tnx

SATA and Pentium 4

I'm planning to buy a sata hd for my P4 S478 GA-8I865GME.
I want to confirm, can SATA be run as the primary hd (C:/ drive), because I believe some old systems which have SATA ports are not able to use SATA as the primary drive. Thanks

Now I'm still studying form 5, going to take SPM soon. But I'm still unsure of what field I'm planning to go into. I have already selected 3 different courses which I'm interested, Engineering, Business or ICT. More emphasize on engineering. So now I want to know the future job prospects, what jobs will be in high demand in the next 5 years.

Please voice out your opinions.
