Dota 2 has an international appeal and probably brought more recognition to Malaysia than many other sports. With a total prize pool of 2.6 million USD, the tournament has prize money comparable to the top sports tournaments, for example PGA golf tournaments.

A total of 1 million viewers around the world were watching the tournament online.

Such an achievement of a third place finish in a world class tournament with fans all around the world, and it was not even mentioned in newspapers. Malaysia should give these pro dota 2 players some $$ and love. In terms of return on country recognition, this sport rates up there with badminton, yet Malaysia doesn't spend a single Ringgit to enhance their livelihood. Instead, they are forced to scrap around and other teams from other countries are snatching the top talent away. Such a pity.

What is the best online broker malaysia?

Hi,

Just wondering what you guys think is the best online broker in terms of web technology? I use cimb itrade and ecm libra. I feel ecmlibra's historical data is much more useful as it can be exported to excel.

On the other hand, cimb itrade's charts can go back quite a long ways till 2000 while ecm libra only goes back two years.

Maybe there's another broker you guys can recommend that has both historical data export and goes back further than just two years? or share what you like about your broker's online trading platform?

Hi everyone,

I'm a guy. I can approach random girls that I think are hot or decent. Problem is, I'm english ed and would rather not bother talking to a chinese educated girl. I mean I talk to her in english and we both feel sheepish cuz she a bit embarrassed she can't talk to me and I'm a bit embarassed (lol chinese and not know chinese?). But anyways that's beside the point. I can usually tell by how they dress, but sometimes I just have no idea. I heard eng ed like to wear coach and burberry and chinese ed rather have a lv bag. Is this true? what do u guys think?

Hi everyone,

I'm asking help from anyone familiar with the convenience store/seven eleven/supermarket business.

I originally intended to start up a convenience store type business carrying candy, beverages, batteries, etc. in Penang. But I'm having major trouble locating distributors for some of these items. Some of the places I went to were bulk sellers, not exactly what I had in mind. Also I thought the prices were rather expensive. Plus, they don't deliver.

Ques. 1. Do distributors deal with the maybe few boxes of chocolates that a small retail store orders? I was wondering that maybe they don't bother with orders for just a few boxes.

Ques 2. Does anyone know of distributors or how to find them, especially in Penang or those in KL that have a nationwide network? Or how can I find them?

Ques 3. The distributors seemed fragmented. Is there a mega distributor in Penang or KL where I can place my orders from?

Ques 4. Are distributors third party? or does a place like tesco or cold storage or seven eleven have their own distribution service, warehousing, etc.?

These things will help me so much. A lot on the viability of this business hinges on getting products at a decent price and delivery. It's impossible for me to get all the goods from so many different places.
