Anyone experiencing this or can advice why it's like that? Or did screamyx suddenly cap torrents that i did not aware of?

Thx in advance.

Phone to PC Bluetooth Windows Media Player Remote

Hello,

I just got an K530i phone and saw there was a feature to connect through bluetooth to a Windows PC and use the phone as a wireless remote to control the Windows Media Player. Am trying to figure it out how it would work. Does anyone knows how I can get this function working? Do I need a software to be installed in my PC? Is there anywhere I can look for this software?

Thx for reading!

Pixalation, then Hang

Hellooo...

I'm helping a friend to ask around here for asistance. It just happened recently, as she boots up a game, example Oblivion, and then as soon as she starts playing ingame, the whole screen starts to hang and sort of become grainy with dots, sort of like pixalated This only happened recent and she has been using it to play games for weeks and it never happened then all of a sudden this happened. Any idea why? Blown VRAM? or DDR ram faulty?

Thx in advance for reading and helping!

p/s: her pc's specs are

Pentium core 2 duo 2.4 ghz
2 gig ram
Gigabyte Geforce 9600GT 512 ddr2
Win XP

Words on screen and graphics all weird

As I power up my new system to format and install windows, I've found that the letters on parts of the screen are all jumbbled up. For instance something like below:-

I jxst bou%hT a $ew PC. %%

Could my old monitor's video plug that has lost quite a few pins in it be the cause of this? Or does that sort of problem is associate with something else? My graphics card is new anyways

Suggestions? Thx!

New MoBo wont boot.

Hi all... need help again

I bought a new Motherboard last night with a new AMD processor. I had the shop owner put them both together b4 i brought it home. When i got home I hooked it up to my old power supply (420w) and with my other hardwares, drives, cards. When I hooked up the power switch and try to boot it. It did not start. I tried everything to troubleshoot it and it still wont boot .

Troubleshooting I tried :-

1. checked bios jumpers.
2. checked power connections.

My new board is MSI K9N-V3 type

It has a 24 pin power slot, my PSU is 20 pin. But I should work too rite? Or am I wrong?

After my failed attempts, I hooked my old system back up on that PSU and then its my old system's turn not to work! PSU died coincidentally as I got a new motherboard??? @_@ or am I missing something? Before I connected that PSU to the new motherboard, it was running fine on my old board. After I switch off and transfer this all happened. Would something I could have done while connecting cause the PSU to die? Or does fate has a bad sense of humour :S

Anyone can help give me some suggestions?

Thx!

Graphics Card Died or...

My pc just stopped being able to load windows today. It started with an error by my card's driver saying something about my card's hardware render has been disabled, something like that Told me that I need to reboot for it to go back to normal. I rebooted and never could get back into windows from then. Every time when it gets to the windows loading screen (with the black background), my monitor will go all black and act as if there was no connection. There was one rare chance i managed to see the screen was all giberish and static on it... and a little bit of the windows screen where you can choose users, it says windows is shutting down.

Anyways, reason I'm writing here is to confirm if its graphics card dead cos when I took out my card and then connected the monitor socket to the motherboard on board VGA adapter, I could get into windows fine except for having low resolution If I try connect the card, it would end up as b4 again. So... is it card? or am I not aware of some kind of virus that is able to do that hehe? or is it driver problem? or (god forbid) my motherboard the one thats screwed?

Anyhow, thx for those who would read and comment.
