I have heard that tinted car windscreen and windows can interfere with GPS signal, is that true?

I am always fighting for GPS signal for my car navigation unit, is there any work around for this?

i heard that tinting of car windows and windscreen can cause drop of GPS signal (built-in or standalone units).

I am using a V-kool tinting and always have trouble fighting for GPS signal for my car navigation unit.

Is there some way to work around this?
